it seems we have to wait until SoH terrain released and they will work on upgraded black sea.

then we can see the dawn of the great merging.

Don't know where you got that from, SOH has not even been mentioned as part of the merge.

Fixed that for you. Unless you have a quote to back up your original statement. There are plenty of quotes to back up my version.

Isn't NTTR update happening today as well :)

As Normandy will be released for 2.? today, then yes, first you'll be asked to update 2.0, then when you enter the module manager after the update you'll get a message to download Normandy.

It can be pretty confusing, but the 2.0 release is the latest version, with the graphics engine for Normandy. 1.5 will be updated to 2.x (presumably 2.5) when the Caucasus map has been updated to the same spec as the NTTR and Normandy, at which point all 3 maps will be available through a single DCS World.

When that happens, we should just see 2 versions of DCS World, with release version, and a beta version (assuming the alpha branch (currently 2.0.5) will be ended with the merger).

No one has said that 2.0 will be updated to 2.1 today, merely that in order to introduce Normandy, it will first be necessary to update 2.0. We'll have to wait until the change log is published to know what exactly will be arriving beyond the already announced release of Normandy today.
