Devrim
Hi. Please see the image first. It should be 9901, or 9911? 99 is for alternate airbase. That's OK. Batumi code is "##11" Why Chuck says 9901? Thanks. Devrim
...Thanks for spotting it.You're welcome Chuck! Another one I think: Page 88 > 3c: "Once you cross Waypoint 2 and the HUD switches from B2 to M3, set Master mode to ANF." Is it M3 or U3? Because we created a Pop-up point in Preparation section. Edit: The same, in page 101 and 105. Thank you. Szprynmann
Hi Chuck, Could you please verify part 16, chapter 12 (TERNAV)? I was playing around with switching TERNAV on/off and it seems that 580 turns it on, whereas 581 turns it off, contrary to Your guide. Heatblur's manual (page 169) confirms that: Quote The TERNAV system can be toggled on/ off via the address system. Input 581000 in TAKT/ IN, confirm with LS/SKU, and insert value 0 (580000) to enable TERNAV again) Thanks!
Charly_Owl
@Szprynmann Really good catch, thanks for letting me know! Error is fixed. Revision date will remain the same since it's a minor one. 2 3 Chuck's DCS Tutorial Library Chuck's Guides on Mudspike Chuck's Youtube Channel Chuck's Patreon
PiotrMKG
Any idea what magnetic declination should be dialed in over South Atlantic map? And what are the codes for airfields? Edited July 7, 2022 by PiotrMKG

I think I saw 2.2deg mentioned for SA the other day, but not sure if + or -. However as far as I'm aware that should be set automagically in the Viggen on spawn. As far the codes they are as usual available in the kneeboard (Rctrl + K). 1 Viggen is love. Viggen is life. However as far as I'm aware that should be set automagically in the Viggen on spawn. For some reason they implemented a random error in the Mag Var (KURSKORR) setting on spawn. I think it's within 1.5 deg of the correct value but the pilot needs to tweak it. This was some kind of compromise but I can't remember why. @IronMike?
