F-4E disapear from editor

Not sure if has a aislase case or other issue, but has discover in the last version 1.5/1.5 Beta/2.1.1 Alpha, the old F-4E has disappear as usable unit in the mission editor.

Easy enough to fix, open Scripts/Database ... find the file db_countries

 

Under USA add this line:

 

cnt_unit( units.Planes.Plane, "F-4E");

 

Every time the game updates that will be removed, so you will have to do it again, or you could create a JSGME file to add the corrected db_countries file, thats what I do.

National origin of F-4E is United States of America so it should be in the factory

**local units = country:get("USA").Units**

list.

They haven't flown it for a very long time, I doubt that's got anything to do with it ;)

sory but you say that F-86 is still operational in USA. we should see all planes in all countries that had them and with their skins.

I didn't say that at all, I said the F4 was not flying operationally in the USA any more.

 

There was a thread about it a while ago and it was made clear then that it was taken out of USA in the game because they no longer fly it. It remains in the countries in the game who still do fly it.

Skatzillas post tells you who.

 

I also made it clear that I have no idea why ED did that, if its an issue for you then you will have to take it up with them, but its no big deal to fix it yourself. How to do that is explained in my previous posts.
