please please polychop tell me that the door gunner is multicrew functional.

i neeeed a reason to build a physical doorgun controller!!

 

i patiently wait for the huey to allow the doorgunners as multicrew slots, but who knows when that will be.

 

I AM EXCITED TO KNOW THAT THERE ARE MINIGUNS ON THE GAZELLE!!!!!

 

PLEASE LET THE DOOR GUNNER BE MULTI SEAT!!!!!!!

 

with axis assignments for analog controls to traverse the minigun!!

Hi,

Yes it is multicrew, only the copilot can access the gunner position.

A bit nauseous with oculus I guess depending on your fellow pilot :)

I dont want to bother you with too many questions.

I hope that the minigun has axis assignments that you can apply to both joysticks and mouse.

 

With VR in mind i like to build a pintled turret with potentioments so i can assign doorgun up/down and left/right axis commands to the pots, i think you get the idea.. ;) ;)

Any Chances to make the Impact of the Projectiles more look like a small arms caliber?

 

Seems like the Rate of Fire is too slow, Audio is fine, but only the Tracer Bullets cause in Impact on the Ground.

 

Anyway absolute great Addition, cant wait to go on Persian Gulf with it:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:!

Silly question about mini gun ...

 

If a person not in that slot does AI mini guner take over ?

and if so how do I control him (hold fire etc)

are you sure ? 6000 RPM and 4000 ammo

In VR the Minigun points, where you looking at.

 

ROF: You hear e.g. 10 shots but only see 4 Tracer Rounds, you now. If it´s mixed Ammo (Tracer/Ball) it´s logic. But as mentioned, only Tracers do Effect on the Ground.

Awesome so far, I completely agree with the statements above though. It would be even better if the gun was decoupled from the "camera" for VR. Also I do sort of miss the ability for AI Gazelles to engage targets with the minigun. Other than that, outstanding work, I really like the unrestricted view in this version. :)

Could have picked a taller door gunner so that his feet at least touch the skids...

i just saw some one post on a review of the gazelle with minigun on youtube.. looks very very interesting, i am now compelled to download the open beta to try it out, and share my comments for the VR perspective... i like that there is a EO tech sights... my gawd, it looks so daymn sexy...
