New guy question.. how do you manually check for updates? Besides waiting for a phone call From Wags of course..

 

You can use the dcs updater exe or you can open a command line window to you 'bin' folder in your dcs install:

 

C:\Program Files\Eagle Dynamics\DCS World OpenBeta\bin

 

 

and type: dcs_updater.exe update

It really is so easy to put a shortcut to the updater on desktop.

Or simpler.....just run the dcs updater icon from the eagle dynamics start menu......or create a shortcut to it to make it even easier.

Put this in a .bat file in your DCS World\bin folder. (e.x. HYPE.bat).

This'll run the updater again as soon as it closes.

DCS_updater.exe update
goto hype

Heading out to doc , you guys have fun hopefully it will be available for me upon return.

Can't wait to see how many pages this thread has grown when I get back lol.
