First thing I noticed also. This seems to be one of those bugs that returns around every third update, but as far as bugs are concerned, it's not a day-ruiner.

How fast was the carrier going? 8\

Mine was 16kts carrier speed plus a 10kt headwind.

Anyone see this?

Is this a problem with the wing tip vortices after the update? It sure looks strange Digital%20Combat%20Simulator%20%20Black%20Shark%20Screenshot%202018.06.20%20-%2019.51.44.19.png

I had just landed on the carrier and taxied to the deck and was checking my flaps when I saw all these swirling smoke or vapor circles trailing off the wingtips...something's not right about that

Not a big deal, you've already figured it out...

Uh, yeah but if I saw a donkey landing on the carrier and confirmed it was a donkey and not a horse, it'd still be a problem...I mean, if the whole point of even adding a wingtip vortex was to create realism, then this just squelched it

Yes, I have this too on latest update 5. F10 map says carrier speed is 19.

Cheers!

I like the effect. I just hope they don’t try and fix it then break the in-flight vortices again.... Bottom line: I can live with it.

You saw a flying donkey... is that a mod?

This has already been reported in the bugs section and the moderator is asking for a track file. FYI

They seem disappear once you taxi away from your spawn point, then work as normal and expected when pulling G.

Hi,

I have reported this issue on the F-5 forum (Before the F-18 was available).

Wintip vertices was appearing on taxi at very low speed.

Now if you watch the track, my plane has the vortices on the tips just as I'm coming in on the glideslope...now that's not right and it's not my spawn point either

I don't understand why a track file is required when there's plenty of picture evidence here.

It seems like the vortices are programmed to appear at certain speeds/AoA. I don't understand why they can't just disable vortices below 30kts and then the problem is gone.

I guess they are busy doing other stuff.

This kind of bug collecting is bad anyway, there are much better platforms to keep track so that both, the mods (+devs) AND the community can stay informed... but whatever, thats offtopic :)
