VR Shaders mod for better VR experience

This is expected behaviour. The folders don’t get regenerated, the files get regenerated in fxo and metashaders2, in your dcs saved games directory,... the folders don’t ...this has been asked several times...

I've tried this on standalone 2.5.5 but upon launching DCS I got this error message

To make your own IC compliant version of the MOD do the following:

 

1) install the MOD using OvGME or JGSME. and the other installation steps as per the readme file

 

2) go to multiplayer in game and see which files are causing an IC failure and note them down

 

3) uninstall the MOD

 

4) remove those specific files from the MOD

 

5) reapply the MOD

 

6) repeat steps 2 - 5 as required.

This mod seems to work on 2.5.6.45915, but performance is terrible. The game also crashes for me on the second time playing any mission (i.e. play the mission once, return to the mission editor, fix something, try to play again and it crashes.)

 

Moving back to 2.5.6.45317, performance was great on this version.

Oh yeah, if you're running stable then the folder name is just "DCS".

Shader Mod causing CTD

 

This mod seems to work on 2.5.6.45915, but performance is terrible. The game also crashes for me on the second time playing any mission (i.e. play the mission once, return to the mission editor, fix something, try to play again and it crashes.)

 

Moving back to 2.5.6.45317, performance was great on this version.

 

I'm still getting good performance, however whenever I re-load a mission, it will CTD. this has been reported in the "Game performance" section.

 

I have Uninstalled the mod and confirmed the CTD is no longer present.

Re-installed mod and crash returns.

 

(note: i would rather crash 12 times a day rather than uninstall this mod.)

I had problem only with Spitfire modul, with F/A 18 no problem

I tried the mod with the last version. Correct install with purge of metashader, fxo, renaming of dcs for all maps.

 

no pfs gain at all on harrier "ready on the ramp" quick mission

crash when trying to launch a second mission.

I added an updated version in the first post that hopefully fixes the crash since last DCS version, and includes a few other shader changes that came in the last patches.

Well, the mod doesn't seem to render any A/C at all I'm trying to sit in, so am deleting. But thanks anyway.

I get an IC pass failure on the following files.

 

If I delete these, what functionality do I lose? Are they necessary for the MOD?
