Grimleo Posted October 25, 2018 Posted October 25, 2018 Don't forget commercial and civilian aircraft. At least a Boeing 737 and a Cessna 172 for air traffic and as targets for air policing missions.
Frag Posted October 25, 2018 Posted October 25, 2018 I would kill for a FLYABLE C-130 ... like the third party one in FSX!

Evoman Posted October 26, 2018 Posted October 26, 2018 I would kill for a FLYABLE C-130 ... like the third party one in FSX! A while ago Razbam had asked their Facebook followers what non armed military airplane they would like to see come to DCS. And the most requested airplane was the C-130 because it has so many variants that could be useful in a wide range of missions like no other.

Svsmokey Posted October 28, 2018 Posted October 28, 2018 Didn't i read somewhere that ED has no interest in doing fly-able airgraft with more than 2 engines ? Worrazen Posted October 28, 2018 Posted October 28, 2018 (edited) +1 Count me in this as always, I'm focusing more on AI's since it's tough for a flyable wide body jet anytime, but something that has combat capability like C-130 wouldn't be that of a stretch, why would the documentation on C-130 be harder to get than A-10C, I doubt it. C-130 looks like a jackpot, it's has so many real-life uses, transport (paradrop cargo, supplies, fuel, ammo, small vehicles), tanker, SAR, now you don't really need to have other models flyable, just the AC-130 gunship, leave the reast for AI's, and the unique paid module would get the AI's bundled while other people could get only all the AI versions for lower price, for example. Just somehow maybe a flyable tanker could be interesting in multiplayer, technically unlikely someone would spend all their time perfecting tanker skills for his buddies but who knows, it does give refuelign a lot more versatility, since it wouldn't be a predefined path where to refuel. john9001 Posted October 29, 2018 Posted October 29, 2018 C123, it's like a half size C130. Think "Air America" in Nam.
