F18 and Persian Golf map

Is there a bundle out for just the F18 and Persian Gulf ? I have the Su33.

 

Sorry if this has been asked I can't find a straight answer.

If it works like the previous Helicopter bundle you will receive an additional Su 33 module that you will be able to gift to a friend or to a clan mate.

 

Of course, your friend can also gift you a monetary compensation for your troubles. "wink wink, nudge nudge"

 

All you have to do is not activating the module after purchasing it (which you won't be able to do anyway since you already have one activated)

It's a bit of a frustration for someone like me who purchased the F18 and would love the Persian Gulf but have been waiting for a sale. I have no interest in the Su33. They should offer discounts for each module if the customer already has part of the bundle.

You could have bought Persian Gulf last week, there was a sale where they offered a discount for one if you already had the other (map or F-18 ).

I have had the map so got $20 off the plane.

I got screwed, I thought it was $20 now - so not only did I buy PG for $50, now I just bought a $90 bundle for just the Hornet (could care less about Su-33). Only reason I did the bundle is I figure I could gift the PG map and recoup $20 back. Once again, screwed for buying something at full price...

That would contradict the meaning of "bundle" ...

For a student it is a lot of money regardles of how many time you can have fun with it. Since i have a job i don't mind if i could save 10 or 20 $ on a module, like you, and don't waiting for sales, as i can afford it now and i think the work for the modules have to be honored (now i buy the modules that i don't want in sales just to support the devs and to satisfy my passion to collect).

 

But as i was a student i couldn't afford new modules and had to wait for the sales on the older ones.

And for these people are bundles not a good way to safe money as you, despite they having a discount, have to pay "a lot" of money at once.

 

If i remember this times i would not be happy with the current focus on bundles instead of single module discounts too (and at the moment, i think the bundles are sometimes poorly chosen, but thats a matter of opinion, i think).

I think this is a good way. Persian Gulf and the Hornet are new Modules so there is not a lot you can safe, but it still is something.

I am currently owned A-10C, Ka-50, Flaming Cliffs 3 and Combined Arms module.

 

I want to buy that F/A-18C +Persian Gulf Map but it was only in steam, cannot found it on DCS World website. the steam key will compatible to non-steam DCS World?

 

I also want to buy other module, but when will be special offer discount for each individual module? or in giant bundle pack that don't include any module I currently owned.

or instate new system to allow removal of module that was owned in the bundle pack?

Last week we offered a special deal in which you could get $20 USD off the Hornet if you already own the Persian Gulf Map, or $10 USD off the Persian Gulf Map if you own the Hornet. We are listening, and due to popular request, we are re-instating this deal until 21 October 2018!

I don't understand why ED don't propose the same bundle at same price, I'm in the same position as Jokeracts, I'm FC3 owner, but I don't want to take GP map + F18 for $90, but for $70, I think I'll take them ... Strange commercial policy from ED.

Glad ED just bring back the bundle pack of F/A-18C + Persian Gulf map, I got it now.

 

F-14 was on preorder too, I am not but it for now, maybe later when released with other bundle

Yeah, but then they also should sign a contract where they oblige to test and report issues. You do not have to pay $80 for an incomplete module, it is well known, that it is incomplete, by the "early access" tag. And actually there IS a discount if you preorder or go for early access. Maybe not on every module, but for example the F-14 now is $20 off.

 

But the point I want to stress most is: You know it's incomplete, it's your choice to buy or wait. You decided to buy. Stop complaining.

It IS the complete plane price. You will get a complete plane when it leaves early access phase. You won't have to pay for the missing features.

Thanks`for your thoughts but i'm free to complain. You're also free to not read my complaints.

 

I'm a beta tester for race sims. I sign up for that and deal with incomplete cars and tracks. When the cars and tracks are released to the public they're complete. We don't use the public to test them when they have to pay for them.

 

ED should offer a discount to anyone buying incomplete content. Easy to understand.

 

I'm not complaining about the money but the principle of it all.

i pre-orderd before release and saved myself 20 bucks, even though i would have been able to shell out the full current price if I wanted to.

 

any sensible person should have taken the opportunity to do so especially if money was so tight for them that they need Months to recover from single $80 purchase.
