Something did indeed go wrong, however, I believe only the G was to be introduced today, and the F following later.

You can load AGM-65D in current version, which don't happen IRL

Yes, but can you get them to pick up a Laser?

haven't tried yet. Also it seems you can't set a LS Code.

Ive tryed, even loaded up Mav-E and used the bottom DDI i put a code in but it entered as the int of the bomb not code.

You should not be able to change the code of GBU's in the air, so it doesn't matter. Couldn't get mine to track 1688.

GBU is defintely an accident

GBUs? Interesting. Do they display a laser code on the stores page? If so, maybe the CTLD JTAC will work for them.

Am I reading right? AGM and GBU are available for hornet?

GBU only by accident. They are still very much WIP.

I last entered at my DCS on Monday, since when mavericks are available?

Laser Mavericks (AGM-65E) are available since Wednesday last week (14. Nov) and IR-Mavericks (AGM-65G) are available since today. Both are only available in the Open Beta for now.

What is the difference between Open Beta and 2.5?

Open Beta is 2.5.xxx that simply gets the updates at an early stage and the community act as Beta testers for bug fixes and new features.

Where did you get that data point? Should not?

The code is entered on the ground by use of dials on the boomb.

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.

so I have to install it?

I’d recommend waiting until a hotfix in the next day or two (check here: https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?p=3694813#post3694813 ). It looks like ED sent out the wrong F-18 development branch in todays Open Beta update.

Also, search the forums. There are no shortage of threads about Stable vs. Open Beta and how to switch between the two. You’re hijacking this thread.

No, not the wrong development branch. Creating a new Open Release takes a couple of days to compile the code, create the branch, test for crashes, and send out to servers. The Open Beta today is simply based on the version from Monday when it was created.

The video I created was from a slightly later version, after the Open Beta build went into creation.

The IR Maverick is very much WIP in the Open Beta and should be cleaned up for the next Open Beta update.

Thanks!

Matt
