Destroyer37 Posted November 30, 2018 Posted November 30, 2018 Pretty self explanatory. A helmet Visor would be a great addition. captflyby Posted December 3, 2018 Posted December 3, 2018 Helmet visor that you can raise up for brighter vision or lower when flying into the sun, I believe is what he means. Just like the harrier.
Destroyer37 Posted December 17, 2018 Author Posted December 17, 2018 Correct. Specs:Fractal Design Define R5 Black, ASUS ROG Strix Z370-E, Intel Core i5-8600K Coffee Lake @ 5.1 GHz, MSI GeForce GTX 1080ti 11GB 352-Bit GDDR5X, Corsair H110i, G.Skill TridentZ 32GB (2x16GB), Samsung 960 Evo M.2 500GB SSD
Predator-78 Posted May 16, 2020 Posted May 16, 2020 +1 CPU: 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12700K 3.60 GHz - DDR4 64,0 GB - MSI RTX3080ti - Win 11 64bit
Predator-78 Posted June 15, 2020 Posted June 15, 2020 In recent updates, the visor is raised and lowered when the canopy is closed, unrealistic because at night there is the same animation. CPU: 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12700K 3.60 GHz - DDR4 64,0 GB - MSI RTX3080ti - Win 11 64bit
Airhunter Posted June 15, 2020 Posted June 15, 2020 Pretty self explanatory. A helmet Visor would be a great addition. Similiar or the same as the mig 21 and the harrier The Mig-21 has a visor?
Harker Posted June 16, 2020 Posted June 16, 2020 I'd like to have the effect implemented as in, you can either lower the JHMCS visor and get the visor effect + JHMCS symbology or raise the visor and lose both. MacEwan Posted June 17, 2020 Posted June 17, 2020 This already exists for some planes?!? +1 Yes please. This should be standard for all aircraft where the pilot would have a visor.
Predator-78 Posted October 19, 2020 Posted October 19, 2020 I am well aware that this is not the most important topic, but in the next update will we have the possibility to raise and lower the helmet visor? When will they put their hand to it? CPU: 12th Gen Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-12700K 3.60 GHz - DDR4 64,0 GB - MSI RTX3080ti - Win 11 64bit
BuzzU Posted October 29, 2020 Posted October 29, 2020 I asked BigNewy about a visor and he said he'd mention it. Not much help but at least Ed knows about it now. I'm not too optimistic though. The Hornet has half the HUD shaded. I can see better in the Hornet facing the sun than other planes like the Viper. Buzz
Ziptie Posted October 29, 2020 Posted October 29, 2020 +1 on having a visor that is able to be raised and lowered (with visual impact for us - not just for looks on external views).
