In recent updates, the visor is raised and lowered when the canopy is closed, unrealistic because at night there is the same animation.

I'd like to have the effect implemented as in, you can either lower the JHMCS visor and get the visor effect + JHMCS symbology or raise the visor and lose both.

+1 Yes please. This should be standard for all aircraft where the pilot would have a visor.

I am well aware that this is not the most important topic, but in the next update will we have the possibility to raise and lower the helmet visor? When will they put their hand to it?

I asked BigNewy about a visor and he said he'd mention it. Not much help but at least Ed knows about it now.

 

I'm not too optimistic though. The Hornet has half the HUD shaded. I can see better in the Hornet facing the sun than other planes like the Viper.

+1 on having a visor that is able to be raised and lowered (with visual impact for us - not just for looks on external views).
