The deck and the wires are there, so its possible to catch one, but not following the AI or radio orders. I dont know if the Carrier knows automatically the T-45 in final changing the crew to recovery, you should test it.

So from now on I won't be able to land on aircraft carriers?

Tried a few launch and recovery cycles with no issues.   Try unchecking Enable Deck Crew option.   Hope this helps    (this was  testing Instant Action  Caucasus T45 FAM Day)

Is there any plans to develope this mod further or is it abandoned?

Unfortunately the mod has been abandoned from what I've seen, for quite some time, and is really a disappointment.  I am quite surprised that they or someone else hasn't picked up the mod and finished it.  It adds so much to DCS and Naval Aviation.  If I am away from DCS or an extended period of time, I always use the T-45C to get me back up to speed... and I'm an Naval Aviator.

This aircraft plays a very important part in Naval Aviation training, so its fitting to bring this to DCS. Hopefully there will be some effort to finish it and bring this very important capability of Naval Aviation to DCS.

Indeed.

As an carrier ops enthusiast, and everything related, i always used the T-45C for my training.

About carrier ops: "The younger pilots are still quite capable of holding their heads forward against the forces. The older ones have been doing this too long and know better; sore necks make for poor sleep.'

Are you referring to the deck crew waiting for wing fold before taxi?

Yes! While I'm sure they will fix it though. Because you need the fix for eventual broken sweep/fold.

Well do you have $500-$1100 sitting around that you don’t need? 😉

just noticed if I fly a tacan course over the tacan, I see the tacan needle turn over when I fly over it, the middle of the needle rapidly goes to the side (still normal), but never returns to center.

this happens since the update, I believe. The same was tested in an f16 and there it just works normally

I flew crs 280 over kutaisi 44X. the same happened on crs 100, just to explain a bit more

Could anyone repost the smoke and the 'scripts' thing for me please? I've had to reinstall everything and can't find em anywhere.

Cheers 🙂

There exists a great fix for tacan CDI and radionavigation:
