I'm trying to think of something that we can't use, it's really difficult! :P

 

Is it another model? One for a non-flyable? Or perhaps a vehicle?

well..

not in my hands at this time..

but i can say when mitch is done with it..

it takes a week max to release..

Can promise about the damage model tho..

It might take a little longer..

Yea sorry we did our research but theres no arg # that makes the gun rotate when firing.

 

Hmm... can we use the same arg which is responsible for the Su25T engine's blades rotation ?

no, first we don't even have the engine blade rotation arg # because that was an AFM plane. For the A-10, Yeniceri did a couple of clever tricks in order to make it spin such as attach it to the wheel rotation when its on the ground...etc. And plus, if we did the same for the gun, it will always be spinning.

what spinning? the A-10 engines spinning? if so are we gonna have spinning turbines only when taxing? are they going to stop spinning as soon as the gear is up?

 

Isn't it possible to attach the gun barrels rotation to the gun smoke sprite argument? ...just a thought ^^v

yea Yeniceri had to find some work-arounds for the turbine spinning. On the ground, the engine rotation is based on the wheel movement so you can at least see it spinning when you're on the ground. In the air, i believe an arg kicks in to have a blur effect that makes it look spinning. And no i don't believe the gun smoke rotation could be triggered by the smoke.

@ pigpen: what do you mean, my fueltanks are not in lockon, ehh, well if you cannot find them in the forum, well here is a link

and well when you want to test them, you can find them on www.lockonfiles.com under the models.

 

i hope mitch has done something to them, a skin that suits just right to the one he is building for the new a-10 from yeniceri :-)

 

and can you explain me that sentence :

the rest of the plane those tanks go to, such as maybe...perhaps...the F-111? :|

update...

cockpit ladder is now rounded (Yes Superkungfu, it is :) )

Unwrap is over..

Mitch have the layout now..

He said its gonna take "looooong days.."..

So..

thats about it..

Now i will catch GYS71 and learn damage modeling and LOD from him..

I guess we need a brake chute also...

 

But i need to rest a while..:huh:

 

I guess i will manage to learn these

when the first skin arrives..

 

But like i said..I can update these along the way

So when Mitch is done

I am almost completely sure A-10 does NOT have brakechutes...

So am I. This a slow plane ad its landing speed is quite low.
