SMH Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 I find the trim isn't where I would prefer it. The Bf-109K has a nice feature in its Special menu that lets you set the fixed rudder and aileron trim tabs to your preference. Would be nice if the A8 and Dora both had that as well.
MrExplosion Posted February 11, 2020 Posted February 11, 2020 Yes! Without pedals flying this plane is really annoying, if you dont want to set it to auto-rudder. 1 Kein Anderer als ein Jäger spürt, Den Kampf und Sieg so konzentriert. Al-Azraq Posted February 11, 2020 Posted February 11, 2020 Second this! I have pedals but it would be nice to have fixed trim tabs like the real thing. 1 i7 12700KF | MSI Z690 A-PRO | Corsair Vengeance 2x16 gb @ 3200 Mhz | RTX 3070 Ti FE | Acer XB271HU 1440P 144HZ | Virpil T-50 CM throttle | Virpil WarBRD Base + MongoosT-50 CM2 Grip | MFG Crosswind | TrackIR 5 | HP Reverb G2 Bf 109 K-4 | Fw 190 A-8 | Spitfire LF Mk. JG13Wulf Posted February 13, 2020 Posted February 13, 2020 +1 Asked for this in the DCS here too (with other things) : https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=262622 1
grafspee Posted February 13, 2020 Posted February 13, 2020 Does fw190 has this settings too ? System specs: I7 14700KF, Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite, 64GB DDR4 3600MHz, Gigabyte RTX 4090,Win 11, 48" OLED LG TV + 42" LG LED monitor

grafspee Posted February 14, 2020 Posted February 14, 2020 ^ Neither of our Fw-190s does, unfortunately. Sorry i had D-9 on mind when asking about FW190. System specs: I7 14700KF, Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite, 64GB DDR4 3600MHz, Gigabyte RTX 4090,Win 11, 48" OLED LG TV + 42" LG LED monitor
msalama Posted March 13, 2020 Posted March 13, 2020 Sorry if I'm an ignoramus, but did all FWs and Biffers have these tabs? The DCS Mi-8MTV2. The best aviational BBW experience you could ever dream of.
amazingme Posted March 13, 2020 Posted March 13, 2020 Bf 109 K-4 has even elevators trim tabs, but I don't know why in DCS the K-4 is artificially trimmed for ATA 1.0-1.1 and ~400KM/h IAS. I asked for them to be introduced, rel4y even provided the documentation, to no avail. msalama Posted March 14, 2020 Posted March 14, 2020 Yeah, I remember now, I actually saw those docs then. Well this certainly is an omission from ED's part. The DCS Mi-8MTV2. The best aviational BBW experience you could ever dream of.

Is it changing default incidence of horizontal stabilizer or is it via use bendable trim tabs on elevator? I somehow recall that post, i cant find it. It change the incidence of the complete horizontal stabilizer. You can even see it move when you look in external view in DCS.
grafspee Posted March 16, 2020 Posted March 16, 2020 It change the incidence of the complete horizontal stabilizer. You can even see it move when you look in external view in DCS. I know that, im asking about additional adjustment. It is clear that right now max angle for nose down trim is reached and cant go any more. So my question by what mean this additional trimming was done. System specs: I7 14700KF, Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite, 64GB DDR4 3600MHz, Gigabyte RTX 4090,Win 11, 48" OLED LG TV + 42" LG LED monitor
Art-J Posted March 16, 2020 Posted March 16, 2020 Fixed tabs on the both elevators. Visible on 3D model, but not manually "bent"/adjustable in special options like similar tabs on ailerons. 1 i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.

grafspee Posted August 17, 2021 Posted August 17, 2021 @Jafferson It is true, your solution is moving neutral stick position in game which affect elevator position, it don't affect horizontal stabilizator in anyway, i was talking about this horizontal stab that it has limit and it wont go any more.
