Some Russian armour would be good.

A T34 especially, as it was used in Korea and other theatres

T34 fit everywhere it was used in every conflict since ww2 till today

System specs: I7 14700KF, Gigabyte Z790 Aorus Elite, 64GB DDR4 3600MHz, Gigabyte RTX 4090,Win 11, 48" OLED LG TV + 42" LG LED monitor

Quite. I went to add it into a mission recently and was pretty surprised that it wasn't there. Bit of an oversight.

After all, it's called the WW2 asset pack, not western front.

7800x3d, 5080, 64GB, PCIE5 SSD - Oculus Pro - Moza (AB9), Virpil (Alpha, CM3, CM1 and CM2), WW (TOP and CP), TM (MFDs, Pendular Rudder), Tek Creations (F18 panel), Total Controls (Apache MFD), Jetseat

We were supposed to have a summer update, but its drifted somewhat. They are fixing and adding in better CA support, I know things like the Tigers turret and chassis MGs are working both AI and player, internally at least, more historic sites, etc.

Hi Nineline, we are now basically past Autumn and into winter. Is this still being worked on? Recent coms (weekend updates and newsletters) from ED have not mentioned the assets pack update.

Hey Phil, i asked him directly on discord and the answer was it turned into a winter update, no specifics like still this year or what but "winter update"

Hoping soon

Yes, I apologize, it keeps getting hung up, I am waiting on a list of all that is coming with it. I will try and get some info for an upcoming Newsletter.

Would love to hear more on this :) I realise it might have been shadowed by the VOIP implementation.

Seems like the Ju-88 externals have been ready for about 2+ years now, but development keeps getting pushed back.. Such a shame for the modellers as well!

Picked up a warbird and ww2 pack this sale, would love to create some escort missions for the '109 :)

It didn't come out in August and it won't come out this year right? It is clearly not the highest priority.

To sell the F16 and fix it week by week, yes, there is time.

DCS WW2 urgently needs a minimally attractive environment. You know the problems with the Normandy map at least give us something. Until new maps come out or Ugra media do its job.

Thanks for answering.

Was about to repeat what you wrote Manta, but let's avoid tautology and just give you a +1 :D

The DCS Mi-8MTV2. The best aviational BBW experience you could ever dream of.

I suspect Ugra media are likely going to be a bit busy selling the same poor output to the users of Battle of Normandy, rather than fixing the DCS map. Sad but likely realistic.

People need to stop assuming that UGRA is making the Battle of Normandy, because they aren't.

Sorry by the OT.... but Ugra Media has a web page and not show nothing about the "other game" on your webpage after Normandy and Syria map. the ardenes zone and that new map has not build by Ugra Media.

Some years ago (2015)..... before Normandy project. And remember, that section has about WW2 assets pack, no maps.

ED terrain team is their own thing, and do not create maps for any other game. BoBp is made by the regular IL-2 map team, as will BoN.

UGRA is a third party, NOT a part of either game's map team. They've made the Normandy map for DCS and the Arras map for IL-2's FC, which was released about a month ago, not 2015. BoN is not made by UGRA.

Again, BoN is not made by UGRA.

There's literally nowhere this confusion should be coming from and it's ridiculous. Believe facts not rumors. If it's a rumor, mention it as such. This is how misinformation is tossed around.

?

I know what ugra has done or is going to do.

I was expressing my excitement the Ed map team is doing boddenplatte map for dcs, as they do awesome job on maps. Unlike ugra, and the other sims map team.

Ya I’m literally confused as to absolutely no comms from ugra at all. Ya the map is being worked on and so is the asset pack but how many years we have to wait for developer notes and or screens to show progress or single ai units to be released.

I think the ww2 side of dcs would explode if mod tools and such came about and the talented modders bring in the content.
