I hope they find the pilot ASAP, alive would be brilliant. They should be able to find him because they have an UHF transponder in their ejector seats but god help him if he is in a deep valley and he/she should have been able to eject MImp. MoGas Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 ww2 F4U training film I like this training video, you can use the power setting in IL2 as well for the F4U... http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=-1056703518162002454#

Bucic Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 wow never seen this before, pilot die? looks like the ejection never worked. AFAIK in every Ka-50 crash (two?) pilot died. The vid is really chilling... F-5E simpit cockpit dimensions and flight controls Kill the Bloom - shader glow mod Poor audio Doppler effect in DCS [bug] Trees - huge performance hit especially up close
4c Hajduk Veljko Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 wow never seen this before, pilot die? looks like the ejection never worked.Every system has limitations. Unfortunately, pilots die even in airplanes that have ejection seats. Saying that ejection seat "never worked" is a bit harsh statement based on what facts? RIPTIDE Posted November 23, 2010 Posted November 23, 2010 There seems to be some sort of disconnect in that video. Before and after the explosion. Is it just me? Or is it something to do with the camera focus? [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC]
