mmoccio
Does anyone have this issue in the Hornet? I have Accidentally moved my default head position in the hornet and I did my best to get it back to center. I can not remember how it was as default, but when I am trying to land on the boat, the IFLOLS is blocked by the frame of the HUD when I get in close. Did I screw something up with my default head position or does this happen to everyone? Swift.
Most people are using headtracking so they can move their head around to look around the HUD frame. I think there is a way to reset to default head position but I couldnt tell you what it is. 476th Discord | 476th Website | Swift Youtube Ryzen 5800x, RTX 4070ti, 64GB, Quest
mmoccio
I think there is a way to reset to default head position but I couldnt tell you what it is. Yeah this is what I need to do to rule out that as the problem as I dont remember having it before. I use head tracking too but I really need to move left to see and that messes me up too lol F/A-18C | F-16C | JF-17 | F-14 | FC3 | AV-8B | AJS-37 | F-5E | M-2000C | Mig 15bis | C-101 | F-86 | A-10C | P-51D | Fw 190 A-8 | Christen Eagle II | Bf 109 K-4 | Ryzen 5 2600 | MSI RTX 2070 Super | ASROCK B450m Pro | 16GB G.SKill Ripjaws 3200 DDR4 | 500GB WD Blue Internal SSD | 1TB Samsung Evo 860 SSD | Logitech X56 HOTAS | PSEYE Track IR | Delan Clip | :joystick:
Mumby
To raise your PoV (which is very very low in the screenshot) try RCtrl-RShift-Num8. I think Num5 resets to the centre.
Falby
Or raise your seat with the switch by the left of the seat until the standby gunsight lines up. First thing I always do then I never have to touch any other views. I'm using Trackir
randomTOTEN
default pressing the "5" key on the numpad resets the view.
Bunny Clark
Your view in that screenshot is way low, which is probably contributing to your issues. Your eye level should pretty closely match up with the alignment cross on the upper right of the HUD. Oil In The Water Hornet Campaign. Ramsay
Does anyone have this issue in the Hornet? I have Accidentally moved my default head position in the hornet and I did my best to get it back to center. I can not remember how it was as default, Disabling • DCS -> Options -> Misc. ---> User Snap View Saving ... will give you the default head position. Customised head positions are saved in "Saved Games\DCS\Config\View\SnapViews.lua" ... if you delete the "FA-18C_Hornet" section, it will repopulate with the default Hornet views. but when I am trying to land on the boat, the IFLOLS is blocked by the frame of the HUD when I get in close. Did I screw something up with my default head position or does this happen to everyone? I don't recall how the default view is as I customised the default head position to raise the pilot's head so the horizon is nearer to the screen center (moves the HMCS cursor closer to the players natural eye line). This is my own SnapViews.lua head position.
