randomTOTEN
The missing communication menu when using the default "" key is suspected to be an issue for a large number of modules. I made a test here, Here's the result of all modules I have, Communication Menu working in flight: A-10C AJS37 F-16C Blk 50 Flaming Cliffs 3 aircraft M-2000C MiG-21Bis Su-25T Communications Menu inoperative in flight: Bf-109K4 F-5E-3 F-86-F F/A-18C Lot 20 Ka-50 L-39C Mi-8MTV2 MiG-15Bis P-51D TF-51D UH-1H Most tests performed in Nevada using the Takeoff instant action for that module. I don't have the Yak, but it sounds the same to the issue I and others were experiencing. https://forums.eagle.ru/showthread.php?t=276893
Buzzles
Did you check it's still set in the control menu? You've not mentioned if you did that or reset the controls there. Also, try deleting the Yak-52's user controls to reset it (specifcally keyboard diff files): C:\Users\[username]\Saved Games\DCS\Config\Input\Yak-52\keyboard FWIW, a skin won't affect this. So something else has gone wrong. Fancy trying Star Citizen? Click here!
Ramsay
... i may have failed to mention that the Yak was just fine, comms menu and all before the skin I downloaded and installed When using the Yak-52 • uncheck "Easy Communication" in Options>Gameplay • turn ON breakers 1 (VHF) and 2 (Intercom) • turn ON the battery switch • tune the radio to ATC • use the "Push to talk" button on the throttle "RAlt+\" or "RAlt+#" for the UK The Yak-52 is in Early Access and it's "Easy Communications" is either WIP or bugged i.e. no comms menu appears if you select "Easy Communication" in Options>Gameplay Tested in Open Beta 2.5.6.50979 1 i9 9900K @4.7GHz, 64GB DDR4, RTX4070 12GB, 1+2TB NVMe, 6+4TB HD, 4+1TB SSD, Winwing Orion 2 F-15EX Throttle + F-16EX Stick, TPR Pedals, TIR5, Win 10 Pro x64, 1920X1080

Swagger897
Had this same issue the other night after purchase. Art-J
Not sure we understand each other. What I meant was - don't bind "COMM Communications Menu" command, but "COMM Push To Talk" command and try to use strictly that one. Let us know if it works. i7 9700K @ stock speed, single GTX1070, 32 gigs of RAM, TH Warthog, MFG Crosswind, Win10.

Dunx
I can confirm that the communications menus are not functional in MP. I have tried Easy Comms on and off, rebinding both comms options, using VAICOM Pro, etc. Also tried with and without SRS and VAICOM Pro (only mods installed). 1 ROG Z690 Hero ● i9-12900K 5.5GHz ● Giggy RTX 3090 OC ● 32GB 4800MHz ● Firecuda M.2s ● Reverb G2 ● Win11Pro //// A10CII ● AH64D ● AJS37 ● AV8BNA ● C101 ● CEII ● F16C ● F5EII ● F86F ● FA18C ● FC3 ● I16 ● KA50 ● M2000C ● MI8 ● P47D ● SA342 ● SPIT ● UH1H ● Y52
Northstar98
Still not working as of the 2.7 update, though at least for refuelling, the rearming window does work. You can however use the radio button on the throttle to bring it up (though both ICS and radio bring up 'main' last time I checked, which is the usual menu brought up by the keybind (Alt+# for UK keyboards), they should preferably bring up a). (single player, from mission editor) Radio comms working ok with simple communications disabled and "push to talk" key binded to my hotas. Departure and destination airfields working ok with their respectives radio frequencies. Ground crew working ok in departure airfiled but not on the destination one, not sure why. Navigation working ok on Khz VORs in Syria map.

The problem is that the "\" menu doesn't work. Spoiler Plus the PTTs should bring up their own communication menu - either VHF/LANDYSh-5 and ICS - depending on which PTT you press - which is what happens with basically every other module that has multiple radio systems. Right now they both bring up 'main'.
