It would be nice to spawn with wheel chocks in from the start like in real life, rather than have to add them yourself every single flight.

Indeed. Any crew chief that messes up the chocks should be fired. There would be a lot of unemployed crew chiefs in dcs. It is outrageous that we spawn without chocks. This should be changed asap.

+1. I spawned in Incirlik Syria, which has some inclination. INS was not proceeding. Later I noticed that the jet was moving

You set the parking brake on, and it goes off before you start INS. I didn't say that I use throttle during INS. Well they made chocks because it is useful.

In the Mirage 2000 it is already like this, you get chocks on spawn.

I would also really like this feature for the Viper

Harrier and Mig-19 too. 😉

Yeah, that's a RAZBAM thing. ED should add them to their aircraft, too. At the minimum, every land-based aircraft with wheels should have chocks. It would be especially great for the A-10C, because it has no parking brake (not that F-16's brake is much good when, say, doing a SEC check).

+1, fixed wing aircraft should have wheel chocks by default when cold starting.

Why only land based? Carrier aircraft chocks are even more important, but nevertheless all aircraft should have them on when cold starting.

You're right, carrier aircraft have chocks too when parked.
