correct as is Mfd brightness for each menu

Hi guys, when in a mission and running in on Target I click the A-G switch and the MFD brightness completely fades and nothing is readable. Is anyone else experiencing this sort of problem? As it’s rather annoying. Thanks

I have noticed this too...seems to have started after last patch as before I did not see this.

Although must say that I am having scattered clouds now, not sure if that impact the WPN's view in any way.

The 1st screenshot is the MFDs in full brightness. The second screenshot is after I clicked the A-G switch and the brightness faded quite dramatically. Sorry I couldn’t do a need track reply as the file was over 5MB so I couldn’t up loaded. I hope the screenshots will be ok

This is mentioned a couple times before in seperate posts. Similair problem as also noted couple times that export is not correct to multiple monitors. Difference in output and in game lighting on mfd. Already shared youtube video earlier. 

 

At night time and early morning missions i have to adjust brightness on each separate page by cycling left or right with dms at least at the beginning of the mission.

yes, i see this bug (?) too.

brightness sometimes resets to original level (dim at night), after switching mastermodes or pages. is that how its supposed to work?

No, that's not how it's supposed to work. It's a bug that was introduced a good few patches back and hasn't been rectified. It only happens if you spawn at night. Every time you change page it will revert the brightness to the default night setting which is way too dim. I don't know why it says a track replay is needed? You literally only have to spawn at night, change brightness, switch page and the brightness will revert back to what you spawned with.

I'm seeing this as well. Brightness of the MFD pages change from page to page, its very odd. Is most obvious when flying in the dark.

Do we still need a track for this?

Not sure, but i can assume ED is aware of this bug as many people recognize the same issue. Like i said it’s brought up several times within different topics. Let’s hope.

In the night environment, mfd menu is very dark. I push the button and increase its brightness but when I switch to another menu, mfd becomes dark again and I have to increase again.

It looks like this is fixed internally when I test. 

 

Please include a track replay when reporting so we dont overlook or miss a step that may reproduce the issue differently

I have noticed that I can increase brightness on one page, only to switch page and see it going back to dim. Is this a bug? It seems like uneccessary work to set brightness on several pages separately. I can understand regarding the TGP, but the other pages should have a "global" setting right?
