A couple of comments though, hope you all don't mind:

1. It eats up quite a lot of frame rate, may be it is just me, but I wish it could be a little bit more easy on my wimpy graphics card.

2. I see no rain drops on the canopy in the external views.

(Edit: I think this is the ED's problem)

Thank you for this mod! I've noticed that in the community A-4E the glass of the hud gets wet.. is it solvable or it depends on the materials mod/module creators choose for the aircraft?

Just viewed the videos on first page - the effect, while looking much better, is very ‘persistent’, I’ve never had a rain specked canopy stay that way above say 60kts. It will rivulet rearward from about 30kts, and 60kts upwards - gone.
 

Being from the UK I see a lot of rain.

I think it would be more helpful if you would kindly report it to the A-4E-C thread and/or issues at its GitHub.

Looks like a nice mod.
Any chance of posting a "legacy" version for those still prefering to use DCS 2.56 versions?

Looks bloody fantastic but agreed it needs to be gone by at least 60-80 knots. If you can make them disappear as you have done it but more sped up and starting at about 30 knots and be gone by 80 knots that would be awesome.

tried it but the rain streaks falling out of sky are way to thick and rain streaks come into the cockpit also.  F16 mi24 tested.  Way i can just have the Rain drop changes and not the rain itself?

I am sorry to hear that, but I think the penetrating rain drops seems to be a known bug. I don't notice it in Viggen or Huey, as you see I fly entirely in VR so it was not so apparent to me.

only fly vr here myself.  ka50, f16 mi24 are ones ive tested with mod and all have the rain in the pit,  where as with no mod none issue.

Yes, you are correct regarding the leakage. However, it leaks without or without the mod.

I have cleaned and made a repair to the OB installation. With "rain drop" option turned off, I somehow notice there is still leakage, at least in 2D and Huey is the worst offerder so far.:

Loved it but today I had huge rain and was imposible to see through the "rays of light" that represent the rain. The drops on the windshield are great, but if the rain falling are white laser rays, I have to turn it off. Hope there is a fix soon.

i hope there will be an update for 2.7.10. i reaaly want to enjoy it in VR.
