Flanker 1.0 for the WIN!!!!!1111 i was 7 years old :D after playing that alot of my childhood i was at wall mart one time and saw "Flanker 2.5" i nearly sH%$ myself happy! i bought it then and there, then came Lockon. love them all :D Flanker 1.0 actually came with a the new computer at the time my dad bought for the family. my father really enjoyed flying flanker but he never got into combat :P mostly just flew around and ran out of fuel and crashed LOL then he would turn it over to me and i would practice low level flying..... me being only 7 at the time couldnt figure out how to reduce throttle or get the throttle to work :P but the stick itself worked (a few years later i figured it out) so i would do alot of bombing and gunzo. i would give an arm and a leg to go back to those days of coming home from school and being a pretend fighter pilot :P brings a smile to my face every time i think about it.

My adventure began with the Fighter Pilot (F-15 Simulator) on Sinclair ZX Spectrum in 1983 :smilewink:

and continued with the Tomahawk (AH-64 Simulator, 1985)

to bring the enemy his fate.

Where the hell is Fighter Bomber from Activision (C64, 1989)?! :D

I played it in 1997 for the firs time though  Along with F-14.

Anyway the next one was Falcon 4.0 on my first PC. :P I've dropped it for Flanker 2.0/2.5 but I shouldn't have.

I started with Flanker 1's demo on my friend's PC. I went deeper after i bought my first PC in 2000 and moved to Flanker 2.0. Have all the expansions of all ED sims.

I thought this was strictly with Flanker series. If it is about first "sim" then Janes Advanced Tactical Fighters oh great memories. :D

Flanker 1.0 - in my last year of primal school. But that wasn't my first sim. The very first I saw was Fighter Pilot on C64 and LHX on PC.

It was Flight Simulator 4 for me! :P Chicago Meigs field, remember! ;)

Sorry for my poor english... :helpsmilie:

Bye! ;)

Actually it was Su-27 Flanker DOS demo, one that came out a while before V1.0

And my career started with F-15 on my ZX Spectrum and for heli sims, Tomahawk on same

I remember very well :) It was my very first flight sim for PC (my very first one, PC AT 12MHz :P), together with Fighter Bomber game.

I remember very well my adventure with ZX Spectrum pseudo-sims, hehehe.

F-15 on C-64

My very first F-15 experience I guess was F-15 Strike Eagle II by Microprose.

How about a competition:

Provide a photo of a game box you still own, the oldest one wins :D

wins what..... a copy of BS...

The only way to make sense out of change is to plunge into it, move with it, and join the dance.
