i have seen this too.

sometimes vehicle smoke is extremely wide or long, it looks like an oil refinery is on fire instead of a truck. no idea how to replicate it.

is something like this intentional ED? seems a bit excessive to me.

they also tend to fly perfectly horizontally while all other smokes go more up (can be seen in these screenshots).

Hi,

do you have a track replay example of this happen by any chance?

thanks

I am so sorry. I usually clean temporaries at the end of each week.

Next time I will put the track aside and upload it.

As to the track; I've noticed that the upload limit is ONLY 5 MB.

Any Multiplayer track has easily more than that.

What shoud I do then?

A track file is just a Zip file with a different extension, so there is no point in compressing it.

Upload to a Cloud Drive and then share a link.

Alright, I think I got lucky and was able to capture this bug, while testing some JSOW A behavior in high crosswinds.

I guess the strong wind helped to remove the bug relative fast, but when the target gets destroyed, initially, there is the above mentioned bug, where there is a giant trail of smoke going across the ground

SMOKE BUG.trk

Not going to comment on the inconsistent JSOW A results 😄

It seems it's mainly caused by strong winds (25 knots at sea level in your track, but I also saw this with a 12 knots wind). The unit doesn't matter, nor the weapon causing the damage.

And as soon as the unit explode, the flame effect gets back to a normal angle.

Issue reported.

Don't know how strong the wind has to be, but I've definitely seen it happen on servers with very little no wind.
