I can confirm this and have a long track file showing the bombs colliding on the client side. On the server side they don't collide.

As a result, I started loading single bombs in the bay, but I visually still get two bombs. Will file a separate report for that one.

It's a bug. I'm sure they'll tweak it out.

 

My guess is bomb arming in the sim is very simplified at the moment.

 

It's just about impossible for this to happen in reality between arming vanes, fuse delays, and the level of impact required.

Same here. During my first flight, big boom in mid-air and my mossie crippled by shrapnels.

Nonexistent. Bombs are armed the millisecond they leave the rack in DCS. Even the modern jets have been dealing with high-drag bombs detonating immediately after release for the past year or so.
