So I followed your suggestion and submitted it to Microsoft...

First thing I noticed is that, even though that particular exe that I uploaded was triggering even my own Windows Defender, once I submitted the automated scan from Microsoft passed with no results...

And then one day after the analyst posted this response (I didnt know it would be so fast):

Now would this apply to future versions or only this one? We'll see... In any case thanks for suggesting me that!

You're welcome! Yes, it's strange that this has to go through Microsoft website instead of a submit-function within Visual Studio (or what you're using), but at least it works

I got a problem with this tool.

 

As soon as I jump on an online Server, it seems that the tool is inputting the Data too fast for the Viper to keep up. Most of the time I got stuck at WP 2 or 3 with the tool trying to input Lat Coordinates in the Long position.  Some hickups at the Radio programming as well, but that might be to the fact that it got stuck at WP and just getting out of synch

 

Don't know what to do.

Yes same here!

My guess is that the tool uses an old version of @Comrade Doge mod TheWay.

This tool had exactly this issue and only fixed it a few days ago with version V140.

 

I think when @SFJackBauer uses the updated code the bug will disappear automatically.
Our problems are too high FPS.

Might understand you wrong, but I definitely don't have to high FPS in MP, especially since I fly in VR. Might be the other way around, in SP, there everything worked like a charm. (Same mission, same tool profile)

mote than aprox. 60 FPS causes the issue for me.

if you have issue with high FPS, try edit dtc-settings.json in program folder (increase"CommandDelayMs": value)

Correct. I was experimenting with making the commands input as fast as possible while still working. I settled on 100ms value but it seems people have issues with it. I'll revert to the previous value next update (was 200ms).

Just FYI then… I still had problems at 200ms. I set it to 300 and had no problems. I’ll try to zero in on something when I have a chance.

Wow.  I will definitely try this out today.  I've been on a Viper kick the past several weeks, even got my Cougar throttle/TUSBA & Cubpilot HS working again and did the DeltaSim slew mod. I was tired of trying to get the Winwing throttle to work well for the Viper's antenna and manual range knobs, and I've stopped using Joystick Gremlin.  I'm back to using only the built-in DCS control programming.

 

I've been flying a Liberation campaign out of Ramat David.  I think I'll set up comm channels and waypoints for the friendly airbases in theater.

Not sure if this has been suggested yet, but it would be very nice to also be able to set up the HARM emitter ALIC codes via the DTC (should be able to do this IRL as well afaik)

Having issues with the upload getting stuck on a certain page on the DED and the running macro imputing all of the WP data in the wrong position and page in the DED.  Is this a common and known issue ? Is there a workaround or a fix ? Maybe trying to run too fast and its getting hung up ?

Does this happens when the app is closed? In the current version the DCS side of the app is always trying to send data to the EXE and if it doesn't encounter a listening port it may log that error. If that happens when the app is running, it is a sign of a problem, but its "normal" if the app is closed.

I open it before launching DCS and close it afterwards. 

I only play multiplayer so all during MP sessions.

I hope this mod can support F18 as soon as possible. Every time you drive F18, you need to set a lot of parameters for the radar, which is too painful.

Any look or thoughts of utilizing this with Liberation outputs by Khopa ?  Would be cool as Liberation generates the output files and kneeboards for the viper, to have the waypoints able to load into a file that DTC can read and augment our flight plans. Liberation already utilizes it but greater functionality of the two programs talking to each other would be awesome.  Ill reach out to Khopa also as he has integrated Discord and other features into his liberation engine. 

 

Also any thoughts on adding preloaded markpoint functionality into DTC also ?

I dont use Liberation. Can you send me a sample file of the outputs? Depending on the format should be easy to import.

Regarding the markpoints - aren't steerpoints 26 to 30 reserved for markpoints? Possibly, if you load coords into these waypoints, they should appear as markpoints in the Viper, but not sure. Will test this today.
