Rudel_chw Posted April 26 Posted April 26 26 minutes ago, ACID said: oui j'ai bien le module flaming cliffs OK, just tested and you are right, the VSN Mod does not allow you to sit on it right away. The cause is a change ED did to the way the FC3 modules are currently handled. On VSN Discord there is this workaround: We found a temporary solution for that problem. You need to jump into an F15C slot to load the appropriate DLLs. After that, you can change slots to a F-15C dependent VSN-Mod and it will work. To not break immersion, you can set the F-15C to late activation and change slots. That way the DLLs get loaded but you never entered a F15C cockpit, but the mods work. We will monitor the situation more closely and give you a "ping" once we know something (but only one Ping ) So, I added an F-15C slot to my test mission: so, at mission start I first take care to enter the F-15 first, and then change slot to the F-104, like this: Give it a try this way Eduardo 2 For work: iMac mid-2010 of 27" - Core i7 870 - 6 GB DDR3 1333 MHz - ATI HD5670 - SSD 256 GB - HDD 2 TB - macOS High Sierra For Gaming: 34" Monitor - Ryzen 3600 - 32 GB DDR4 2400 - nVidia RTX2080 - SSD 1.25 TB - HDD 10 TB - Win10 Pro - TM HOTAS Cougar Mobile: iPad Pro 12.9" of 256 GB
ACID Posted April 26 Posted April 26 Merci à vous pour cette réponse je vais essayer des que possible
GrayFox23 Posted April 26 Posted April 26 Its still this problem: So either modify core files for FC aircraft (will break IC, so best only apply if you know what you are doing and/or using a mod manager to quickly apply/remove the fix). As stated here, loading into the dependent FC aircraft also works but is a bit annyoing...
Tengah Posted April 26 Posted April 26 Thank you for the heads up on the 104 fix, Rudel, much appreciated. 1

Here is a very small Mod that makes a small fix on the entry.lua file of the F-15, such that it is not necessary to sit on an F-15 prior to flying the F-104. But it is not IC compliant, meaning that for multiplayer use you have to revert to the original entry.lua ... however you can use a Mod manager like OvGME to easily enable or disable this fix: below is the fix in OvGME format, if you'd like to try it. Above someone asked if my video was the Standalone version and you said no it was not, it was the FC3 version. That was false. My video was the standalone version I was flying. Not throwing fists, just clarifying. 2
ACID Posted April 27 Posted April 27 je viens d'effectuer le test en mettant en place le F-15 et en sautant dans le F-104 et cela fonctionne merci encore à tous 1
xxautopsy Posted May 25 Posted May 25 Hi VSN fans ! Anyone else having issue with ALL the VSN F-104 variants (C, S, S-AG, G) not being able to turn on the cockpit lights or set/reset a new key biding that works either? thanks in advance, cheers, A
PeeJott17 Posted Thursday at 10:51 PM Posted Thursday at 10:51 PM Hello Ladies and Gentlemen. Finally we were able to release the VSN F-104C standalone in an early-access state (V0.99). You can get it here https://e.pcloud.link/publink/show?code=kZkMk6Z2ugmw0cKA0X0mMoNv8AboVB1hszV or, as an alternative, here: https://app.filen.io/#/f/e6c0639c-13c0-47e7-ba22-3a38964f4efc%23SyDSz5Wzl8lnQ4dTRXxd3DYOvHj4HPVf There is also a little "manual" that will help you find your ways around the cockpit as well as we've got one Test-Mission that tells you how to start the "Zipper". Cheers and enjoy the F-104C, VSN-Team. 7 9

HawaiianRyan Posted Friday at 03:15 AM Posted Friday at 03:15 AM Amazing work! Would love to have a Royal Norwegian Air Force livery included. 1

Blinde Posted Friday at 02:29 PM Posted Friday at 02:29 PM Apparently this still requires FC modules? When trying it from mission editor, it just spawns on map. 1
diego999 Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago I've been flying the F-104, here's some feedback I hope you find useful: - First of all, the work you have done is amazing. Great visuals and clickable cockpit. Couldn't ask for more. - Wheel brake axis doesn't seem to be working. - Turning on the radar introduces some slight stuttering. Nothing major but you can "feel" it and it shows on the in-built performance monitor. - The plane is very unstable and doesn't fly in a straight line. I know the real thing was very unforgiving but at the moment I wasn't able to make it fly straight and level, and it doesn't feel like the real plane was that bad. I'm not a real pilot so I can't tell for sure. Just my impression. - I tested Sidewinders and gun last night. It was great. I will test bombs and rockets tonight. Great job! 1
TheBiggerBass Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago (edited) The new VSN F-104 is so much better than the old mod - great work! Thanks! Just one thing: if you include <space> user confirmation after each action the "F-104C Rockets" and "F-104 Cold and dark" actions would be useable as training sessions too. Great to have them with graphics. Do you have the starfighter-pack installed? Then please rename the folder VSN_F104G to 0_VSN_F104G. Also I will post a Patch for the starfighter Pack shortly.
