I hate VR. Specifically I  hate VR headsets. If they ever become size and weight of Oakley glasses, perhaps then. I dislike TrackIR, as I have to wear something. I hope TrackIR evolves into TrackEyes&Track Face, or something like that, and has to work in the dark.

But back to potentiometers. There is next to nothing I can do about them. Its the way it is. When current TM pedals die, then I'll get something else, within my budget.

TurtleBeach seems to be new player in flight sim controls. For a fact I won't be getting anything from Logitech. Quality control is so poor from Logitech. OMG!

Contact cleaner sprayed in the pots and then doing full sweeps with them will work wonders in fixing noisy pots.

Don’t expect much better QC from Turtlebeach over Logitech, but make what are essentially overpriced entry-level controls.

If you want quality, go VKB (they have low-end but high quality sticks) or Virpil. I personally don’t have experience with Winwing, but I’ve heard both great and less great things about them.

I made a naive mistake of getting Saitek pedals. They failed within 5 minutes of usage. First time I did full deflection test in DCS. I was PO'ed enough that I decided to keep them as a reminder. Then I got TM pedals. The plastic ones. MC had them on sale for $89, from normal $120. That was back in 2018. But lately they have started to generate signal noise. New TM drivers from TM work  but  JPY.CPL quits when it tres to bring up panel for TM. JOY.SPL works fine for X56. Now,X56 is OK. Not great. But I have not developed such deep muscle memory and button presets for X56, that I keep on using Rhino becouse I do not want to retrain my hands for other HOTAS. Winwing, BTW, being Chinese, and somehow subject to current sanctions/counter sanctions is not avaialble for sale in USA. Somebody thinks its may have a military use as drone controller, maybe. I dunno. I don't anything about Turtle Beach, except they are known for audiophile audio cards for music production and higher end computer audio. I guess they are entering new peripheral market.

Hi guys,

after several times downloading, just want to point out to the damaged v3.0 zip, where the texture files are missing, causing the mod not to show up in ME preview or in the mission.

One needs to download the updated version v3.1.

Kind regards,

RWC.

The original UH-60L mod is 1.3.2 and soon 1.4
The submod UH-60L Armed is 5.5.1
The submod MH-60R is 3.0, 3.1 is not yet available...

Which archive are you talking about?

I’m having a lot of fun by turning force feedback to 0 on the axis menu, setting “unsprung cyclic mode”, and then using SimFFB with the same buttons bound for trim and trim reset. Not ideal, but works well!

Yeah, I did that too last I played the module.

am I missing something or autopilot does not really hold altitude and heading, and just showing directors on ADI? and HDG knob on it doing nothing except turning the marker?

Aircraft tail wheel.

Hey to all, in what way I can turn the tail wheel/rudder in case that I have not rudder pedals?

Thanx!

Unlook the tail wheel , it would rotate according to the orientation of the BH

eeeeeeh... I do see HDG, NAV and ALT buttons, they even can be pushed and have ON on them. Even FD's are showed up. Well, I can compare only with Hatchet's version in ArmA 3, but I did expected an autopilot there. ^)

Due to weight increases from the addition of mission equipment and other changes, the Army ordered the improved UH-60L in 1987. The new model incorporated all of the modifications made to the UH-60A fleet as standard design features. The UH-60L also featured more power and lifting capability with upgraded T700-GE-701C engines and an improved gearbox, both from the SH-60B Seahawk.[9] Its external lift capacity increased by 1,000 lb (450 kg) up to 9,000 lb (4,100 kg). The UH-60L also incorporated the SH-60B's automatic flight control system (AFCS) for better flight control with more powerful engines.[10] Production of the L-model began in 1989.[9]

As far as the first part, the standard UH-60L did not incorporate the SH-60 AFCS.  At least not the one shown in your second part.  The AFCS you have pictured on your second part was really only hold modes.  It didn't follow any FD cueing, only held altitude, or a hover.  Airspeed hold was the standard airspeed hold incorporated into FPS.

The UH-60L couldn't incorporate any hold modes involving the collective because the collective did not have any force trim, only hydraulic boost with adjustable friction.  The SH-60B, I believe had force trim on the collective, with a trim release trigger to release/re-engage the force gradient.

Yeah, the command bars just tell you whether to pitch/roll/change collective, they’re aids but not an autopilot.

Does anyone have a mission to share that will help me learn how to use these hellfire missiles with an AI JTAC drone?

...Or, is that even possible?

Is this on one of the armed submods? Default UH60L has no weapons.

Wags has a video for the Apache, I’d expect it’s similar at least?
