I believe the real coastal batteries use a version of the Giraffe 75 radar to search and track. The mods as is will work with AWACS or also a specific command to target a certain group or unit. Perhaps it could be modified to work with the same Giraffe based radar that is in the mod pack already.

Yep, you are correct. The RBS-15 KA was one of the first assets I made, before I had the ecosystem in place. I'll add this feature to the list. 👍🏻

Because damn the IRIS-T SAM is incredibly timely... and we need more surface-to-ship missiles... and I'd pay $50 for like 50 or even 25 cars.

I'm sorry for a newbie question:
I'm not able to drive any of the vehicles in the Swedish military assets, I don't have the little tank-icon in the F10-map. What I understand I need to buy Combined arms mod to be able to drive the vehicles . Is that correct?

Any chance at including some stock desert liveries for the SAMs?

 

Nothing too amazing, just a color sub from green to desert tan would be sufficient to help them blend in on all of the DCS desert maps.

This is a really cool mod, but I only see myself using the SAM systems, like the LEVITT and the RBS stuff. I dont really have a use for the other units.

 

The mod is like 12 gigs in total, is there an easy way to just trim out the parts that I wont use?

Yep! I actually made it modular. Every folder contains an asset (or a set of related assets like infantry). Just delete the folders you don't want. The rest will work just fine.

You are fantastic, thank you! I'm building a campaign for some buddies and didn't want to make them download a huge set of files only to use one or two assets. Keep of the great work, the detail is amazing!

Hello, I may be wrong here, but various executions of my scenario missions raised the following question 🤔 I have a SAM site which includes several LN103A and LN103B launchers. I also have two incoming bogeys flying at FL300 and 100 nm away. It seems to me that they are only targeted and fired at when they come close in at something like 15 nm, although the LN103A has a much greater range 🙁 Am I wrong here or am'I missing something ? Should I avoid mixing LN103A and LN103B SAMs ? Your help is welcome, and many thanks for your amazing Mods 😀👏

Most likely the incoming aircraft is using ECM. Try setting ECM to off or test with a non-ECM equipped target aircraft. 👍🏻

Love the Mod and so far I have spent way to much time building helo missions with your infantry. The only issue is that the game crashes anytime they get into combat.

I have a mission that crashes only if I choose AH-64 (there are more slots) , and only in 2.8 Open Beta.

Here if you want to test. It is a quick mission; If you let the assets take care of the convoy, and take out the BTR80 coloumn and hit that tent last. Not sure it is related to the assets, though..

I cant get the RBS units to function. I can place the unit in the mission but when mission starts he does nothing. If I try to manually control him through combined arms it says the unit is dead. Also, he does not show up on the F10 map either.
