Do they come with wall mounts? I can lag those into my (sloped) ceiling without issue if they do, where the red circles are (or higher) in the pic. I also found mini-tripods that would allow a desk mount just under my monitors..  Any input on XRNeckSafer working well? She shipped yesterday, woohoo! null

Don't put them on small mounts on your desk.

You need them diagonal facing each other, I have mine a few feet in front of me on my left hand side, up about 5ft high angled down toward the headset. The other one is on my right a few feet behind me , angled down and towards the front left tracking camera.

Mine have been there and working beautifully for quite a long time.

How I have my single based station located center of my sim pit. I utilized cell phone/tablet mount arm extensions to get it better adjust over my screen.  I will probably mount it higher in the future but still utilize the extension arm; my wife is wanting to repaint my office soon.
 

Forgive me for not having the exact links I will post later if anyone is interested; the past 48hrs have been exhausting and enjoying an adult beverage finally after these stressful two days.

I "think" if I mount them up a little higher than the red circles in my photo, and 8-10" out on both sides, angled down and toward my seat, they should work quite well according to the setup instructions i've seen online. 

1st Base Station arrived today, it does come with the wall mount (to answer my own question), the issue is the flexibility of it. I mounted it temporarily and I would like it pointing at my face but the best I can get is it directed at the chair headrest (back of my head). From what I have read it still should be fine as I will be well within a 120 degree FOV and the two will intersect at the headset but a better wall mount would allow much more flexibility in where they point.. so I just ordered a pair of simple wall mounts that will do what I need (and look better on my white wall/ceiling)..  €10 for the pair.

Edit: Aero and 2nd Base Stations arrived today, Ordered September 20, 9 days is a bit quicker than my first (cancelled after 3 months) order back in 2021!

Used the second mounting point on the bases and the angle was much better, tracking seems perfect, even if I spin way around in my chair. Had to unplug my HDMI monitor, used to work fine with the G2, any workarounds?  So far love the clarity and the ease of use of the desktop!

Also, XRNS works flawlessly in DCS and IL-2, my neck is pleased....

Search for small surround speaker stands/mounts. There are many out there

Bump… Given the 2.9 update anyone with tips/advice/settings and reviews with the Aero would you mind posting here? Personally I’m out of the game right now seeing my system is down because of much needed remodel in my home office (new windows/trim/paint installed this week of all weeks)

Did you perform a repair?  that is the first thing to do

When I uncheck VR, it works. But when I check again VR, i have this message

Have you tried the non-MT version?

I played around a bit last night with DLSS quality setting and didn’t notice any major issue (MT DCS with Varjo Foveated mod only).  Try removing all 3rd party mods if you still can’t get to run and see how that goes.

I've had no problems, but I'm running the older non Foveated rendering version. But the performance "improvements" for me are absolutely minor, maybe like 10FPS with DLSS.

MT is crashing at launch for me, done a repair, updated everything I can think of, no mods. I'm kind of scratching my head on this one, not sure what else to try

Oh no— assuming pancake mode isn’t crashing? Is your MT shortcut VR-enabled or do you enable VR via setup menu?

ST vr mode launches fine even, I have  --force_enable_VR but I've tried it without with the same results

Running MT exe, no switches, using the Varjo FR, no issues at all...

Had the same when my Varjo Aero wasn´t turned on during launch of DCS.
Both the DCS.exe and the MT version didn´t work, but i dont have the --force_enable_VR comand.

I then found out that i can only launch DCS when my VR headset is turned on at first, since then
i had zero problems. Kind of weird, because this didn´t happen before. Dunno why they changed
that because it makes no sense......

headset is on and working fine, just tried an uninstall and reinstall of DCS and still no joy, haven't managed to load into 2.9 MT one time so far and I am pretty much out of ideas.

Same, problem solved.

In fact, to launch DCS MT with VR settings, the Varjo Aero headset must be connected.
So now everything works fine

It's always a good idea to have the Aero on with Varjo Base running, before doing anything else.

Anyway, for DLSS option I find it to be similar to MSFS in terms of image quality with slight increase in blurriness and if you dial in any sharpness setting the shimmering artifacts can be seen right away, easily seen in maps with prominent ground details such as Mariana.  DLAA is better but incurs performance hit similar to MSAA 2X.  A good compromise might be DLSS at high or very high quality settings.  I'm also not sure if DFR is fully optimized with DLSS either, noticed more stuttering but this could be because of the new graphic engine itself.  Also haven't had a chance to try it in non-DFR mode.
