It has been mentioned several times that IRL it's possible to integrate HARM seeker targeting information into Hornet's MSI. I'm actually intriguingly interested on understanding better the way this data is integrated with the rest. Is bearing-only information or there is some crude geolocation? Is it possile to TGT'ing it? Is it visible in SA page only? With which other data feed it does integrate? (RWR?)

HARM is listed as a sensor for contribution towards MSI tracks. Along with FLIR, Radar, and Datalink.

Note that MSI tracks are, as far as we know, Air to Air only. So it stands to reason that the HARM integration will be in angle only.

There is bunch of stuff missing in ED's HARM implementation, from what I understand. One of the features I'd find very useful when... or if we ever get it would be ability to see the designations from other sensors or NAV on HARM's TOO page (dashed box). No need for the threat radar to be on. This also provides range. PB mode sort of fills the gap but...

Also, ED needs to fix the SP mode priority threat auto select (CLC). Currently, once the priority threat activates SP or PLBK and there are multiple emitters active, hostile or friendly, you can bet your primary threat will not be 'boxed'. Instead, some friendly radar behind you will be selected by CLC...  So, what we have to do now is press 'RSET' to make CLC select the correct emitter. Seconds lost, might make a difference.

Another thing, when PBLK activates and is not overridden, we should also get EW page pulled up on opposite DDI. (from what I gather).

etc, etc.

All we really know is that MSI processing is stopped when A/G matermode is entered. Some similar functions still exist, but it's not officially under MSI. Such as SA donor designation for Harpoon employment.

I probably wouldn't call it MSI at that point, just datalink. IDK though

datalink shared HARM sensor with angle only, can be extremely useful when multiple datalink connected HARM equiped pilots join their angles to estimate SAM position. C2 can than create new threat track and share it on net.
