5 - hands down. It's the only one that has some compositional value (the tall spire in the foreground serves as a focus for a fibonaci golden ratio spiral, the foreground horizon hits exactly  the golden ratio with a hint of the pyramids seemingly floating above it), it actually remains pleasant and mysterious to look at after a few seconds (the other appear predominantly boring to my eyes. Obviously, I'd move the foreground spire somewhat to the right, but that's just my take

Finally someone with an artsy eye 😃 I too loved the composition. Eyecatcher in the left third giving a vertical guideline, the main object of interest in the center but not prominent. All the dust creates depth and an interesting view. I find it a great shot!

Does everyone who voted for the winning cover get a free copy of the map? 😁

Good point. I don't know if they will earn anything, because more than half would take the map for free, me too. 😅

It is not a mistake. It can be written as either Palmachim or Palmahim. Just like there is different spelling for the same bases on the official docs.

Example"Chatzor" or "Hatzor" or "Hazor"

In the Israeli AIP it is actually showing as "Palmahim"  so the current spelling being used is correct.

Here is the link to download the Israeli AIP in English:

So, I would like to say great job to the devs on their first map.  I've enjoyed flying around exploring things these last couple of days.

The pros of this map:

Very nice job on the cities, buildings, ports etc.

The performance is fantastic!  In 2k with all of the graphic options maxed out I'm sitting around 180 fps over much of the map unless over a dense city where I still stay above 130.  Great job!

The negatives so far:

Not impressed with the Suez Canal.  I hope this is just an early access issue.  The canal has literally no water masking or elevation changes.  It looks very cookie cutter.  I love flying around this area of the world in other flight sims as the color changes in this area are immense.  I'm noticing only a few color variations when I fly along the canal which is not realistic at all.

I took a flight down the canal this morning in DCS and then took the exact same flight down the canal in MSFS.  It was staggering how much more detailed MSFS looked in the same area.  So much more color variation, elevations along the canal and beautiful colors of water masking all along the canal.  Of course the had crafted buildings and ports are much better in DCS but the ground texturing is very generic right now.  Again, I hope to see this all improved in the future.

Again, my congrats to the devs on their launch and I look forward to exploring this map for some time to come.

Just to be clear, I'm only complaining about the Canal area of the map.  Most of the rest of the map I've explored looks drop dead gorgeous!  Thanks for the reply.

Constructive criticism is not complaining.
And the positive responses we get from OnReTech, I'm on the verge of becoming religious.

Cheers!
