I am a Swabian; we are the ones who keep the show running in Germany.  Currently, I would like to split us off from Berlin,  But we have a religious leader ourselves.

IT IS DONE

Even if not all of our questions were answered by ED, we handed over the complete campaign, including a 77-page manual and mission description in English, to ED a few hours ago.

A French and a German version of the manual are in the works and will probably be available before they publish the campaign.

Besides all relevant information about the campaign, the manual explains the available help.

Also, a clear warning to all gamers who want to get a quick and easy hit precedes the manual to prevent false expectations and disappointments.

I hope ED will add the campaign to his to-do list soon, and look forward to your feedback.

 Unfortunately, as you may have noticed, our new campaign for the UH-1 STORMFRONT is not part of the December update. 

We have neither influence on nor information about a release date.

This is entirely up to ED, and they will have their reasons.

So, you and I can only hope that it will be published in January 2024.

I should probably have kept quiet.
It has now been five months and the campaign has not yet been published.
I still have no information on whether and when this will happen.

This is not only frustrating but will probably also affect future projects. 
I will probably not push ahead with developing new projects for DCS; instead, I will spend more of my time on other activities.
I will also probably no longer give status updates or make announcements about new projects to avoid raising false expectations. 

However, this will definitely have no effect on existing projects, including STORMFRONT. Support and updates will be processed as usual within days.

Je n'ai toujours pas d'informations sur la question de savoir si et quand cela se produira.

Ce n'est pas seulement frustrant, mais cela affectera probablement aussi les projets futurs. 
Je ne poursuivrai probablement pas le développement de nouveaux projets pour le DCS et consacrerai plus de temps à d'autres activités.
Il est également probable que je ne donnerai plus de mises à jour sur l'état d'avancement ou que je ne ferai plus d'annonces sur les nouveaux projets afin d'éviter de susciter de faux espoirs. 

Cependant, cela n'aura aucun effet sur les projets existants, y compris STORMFRONT. L'assistance et les mises à jour seront traitées comme d'habitude dans les jours qui suivent.
 

Ich hätte mich wohl besser in Schweigen gehüllt.
Es sind nun schon 5 Monate und die Kampagne wurde noch nicht veröffentlicht.
Auch Ich habe weiterhin keinerlei Informationen ob und wann dies geschehen wird.

Dies ist nicht nur frustrierend, sondern wird sich wohl auch auf kommende Projekte auswirken. 
Ich werde die Entwicklung neuer Projekte für DCS wohl nicht verstärkt vorantreiben, sondern meine Zeit mehr für andere Aktivitäten verwenden.
Auch werde ich wohl keine Statusmeldungen mehr geben oder Vorankündigungen zu neuen Projekten machen um keine falschen Erwartungen zu wecken.

It is obvious.  

There is no significant group of people who are actually interested in helicopters and, therefore, in corresponding campaigns. 

How else can it be explained that ED has left me hanging for seven months? It's crucial to maintain a clear distinction between personal and professional matters.

Regardless of any personal reasons, our professional dealings should not be affected. 

Once again, SRTORMFRONT has not been published, and to date, we have received no information apart from interim changes to the media data, to which I reacted immediately. It is sad when a hobby becomes a waste of time and an endless source of disappointment.

NineLine informed me that it may be part of the next update.
I don't get any more information, but I believe it is because of the fixation on new projects, helicopter campaigns may not be a priority, and nobody has a personal need.

I received the information this morning that the campaign has been copy-protected and is now awaiting final testing.

However, with many upcoming releases, e.g., the KIOWA, the ED team has its hands full, and the campaign will probably arrive in another two weeks.

However, it will remain in June; honestly, two weeks is no longer important.

Time in which I will deal with the KIOWA in detail.

Looking good!! - Huey is a great helicopter, I wished they'd update it like though!

I'm dabbling in campaign creation as well and I was struggling with the voice acting for a long time, but I think I cracked it by using a combo of Voidemod, Altered.ai and Adobe Audible, but I'm sure you guys already have a good workflow

Just finished the Stormfront campaign, I can give a clear recommendation .

Interesting and immersive storyline (supported by comprehensive documentation) with not overly complicated but still challenging and diversified missions (besides slingload, but that might be my personal challenge ). Optional pathfinding support (via F10 menu) is a nice addition.

The online thing I am looking forward to for the next campaign is using a different chopper than the Huey and/or a different theater/landscape than the Caucasus (afaik a Mi-8 campaign is already in the works , but e.g. the newly added and feature-complete Kiowa with its great flight model would also be worth looking at).

When it comes to different choppers and theaters, there is good and bad news. 

Let's start with the bad, but they are not that bad at all.
Worlds Apart is, in a kind, like Lord of the Ring, a storyline that spreads over at least three campaigns and tells the story of the UH-1 crew. So Part three, "STEEL RAIN," will not change that.

The good news is that I need a different challenge and another few so the next campaign will be a Mi-8 campaign on the Syria map. This is already in the works. 

I don't currently have enough understanding of the systems to fulfill my expectations in a Simulator campaign to build a campaign for the newer DCS models.
Many others are building good campaigns for players who are seeking just fun and a good time. My goal is to create a situation that feels as realistic as possible, but this requires a deep understanding of the aircraft, procedures, and tasks. This takes some time.
