pone Posted June 6, 2024 Posted June 6, 2024 I have the update installed but the asset pack is not showing. All of the static items are the same as before. It is not listed in the main screen at startup like the other asset packs.

Because it's not some official asset pack to have its own icon. It's just a pack of static objects and AI units that was added to the DCS core. Run ME and check objects list, ex. fortifications. Look for names starting with M92. Aarnoman Posted June 7, 2024 Posted June 7, 2024 I have issues where the sandbag fortification (i.e. M92 Sandbag 17) render any units placed there invisible to the opposing sides AI. This creates issues where the unit placed to be surrounded by sandbags, even with the turret exposed, enemy units will not engage. Is there a way to resolve this issue or is it an issue with the way the AI interacts with colliders? I can set up a quick example mission if needed. 1

If you mean an Icon on DCS's main screen, then indeed, there is none. The objects have been moved to the core. You have full access in Mission Edittor to all objects (IIRC their names all begin with "MS") without having to install the Mod. And there is no Icon at the main DCS screen.

Try this, on the Mission Editor: On the left tool bar select "Add Static Object", then on the right pane select Category: Structures Now scroll on the TYPE list, all the statics that begin with M92 are part of this Assets Pack. To use the driveable units, on the left tool bar select "Ground Units", make sure to have the historic filter OFF (the clock thingy on the bottom status bar) as ED has not yet added a historic entry for these Assets. Then on the right pane select Category: unarmed, SubCategory: "Support & Logistics", Now scroll on the TYPE list, all the vehicles that begin with M92 are part of this Assets Pack. Note that you need Combined Arms in order to drive these vehicles. If i put the shelter over a parking space and then place an aircraft in that slot it spawns in another parking spot that doesn't have the shelter on it. I'm guessing it's a collision thing or something as I haven't tried driving a plane into one yet. 1

It is not a collision, as I can spawn there if i use the option "start from ground", like this: so, it is most likely a quirk of DCS spawn logic. Sadly, take off from ground cant be used with AI aircrafts, so this remains just a workaround. Hi, Just tested it and it seems that the DCS built-in M92 objects take precedence over those of the old v3.0 Mod, the new structures appear on the ME lists, prefixed with "M92 ", but the old structures (prefixed with M92_") do not show up. About the elements that do not appears, maybe its needed a change in the names of the entry.lua to make it load in the game. When I setup the Massun92´s "humans" I needed to change the name for that reason.
