You are wrong... If the Video one is a Soviet made and is working together with the Patriot is something I don't know, but it is what it is and did the job as shown on video. I'm pretty sure what you see in the video is what I'm talking about. Of course, the system is just getting information about a missile coming, but they don't know what type of missiles, so the countermeasure dispensing will be release anyway.

You better use Yandex and the result is: Air Defence System Defensive Equipment (ausairpower.net) 

We have already that system as a mod in the HighDigitSams mod package. Don't seem to be functional and the mod is abandoned now so having it in the @currenthill package will be great.

Thank you for the info! Russia indeed seem to have a decoy system with a series of features like MAWS, chaff, smoke and decoy radar emitter. 

I haven't heard of a similar western system which isn't ship based.

Just a heads up.. the HDS (High Digit SAMs) Mod has the GAZETCHICK E  in it but unfortunately it is only for static appearance as it does nothing. Mainly because DCS Limitations but yes it would be cool to be able to have them throw out some chaff and smoke when an HARM or Cruise missile gets close enough.. Although, it MAY be possible ot Script it in DCS to do this but I am not one hundred on that.

Now and days probably NASAMS and possibly a couple C-RAMS or other Similar European systems..

with the release of the Sinai Map I was wondering if we could get Hamas rockets that they are using against Israel. There a quite a few of them. I am happy to provide realistic 3D models with textures from substance painter - I do however lack the knowledge of modding them into DCS.

I just recently discovered CurrentHill mods, however when I tried to download it from the main site (currenthill.com), the pop up links from sync.com takes extremely long time to download (e.g., 18 hours - 2 days) before showing that there is a network failure thus stopping the download. Is this my connection issue or is it a common one? I have used different browsers to try the download but no difference.

@currenthill I want to bring your attention to a detail in the Patriot site Attack in Ukraine. Maybe you can add this to your Patriot mod and to a possible future S-400.

please see the beginning of the video how the site battery launch multiple countermeasures just before the impact. Probably you can't add the countermeasure effect on the inbound missiles because is a DCS core matter. But at least if you can add the model equipment units and the countermeasures graphics effect that will be a nice add-on to see how the Sam react the last seconds defending actions.

 

These are explosions of anti-aircraft shells from a cannon that is defending the nest, presumably in automatic mode. It is assumed that the missiles that attacked this position had inertial guidance and ballistic trajectory. Even if the guidance would be on radiation, they would not be able to deviate significantly from the course due to speed and proximity to the target, where they fly almost vertically.

Too close to the Patriot battery and too close to the ground level to be anti-aircraft shells…? 
 

Im not sure what you mean with flies vertical… the system mentioned is for ARM missiles and they are not vertical flight. Also the impact was separate in time and distance of the chaff explosions so make not sense those aircraft shells. 
 

also were too many in short time and relatively close to the patriot position.

Something simmilar was used in Yemen to hit F-15S fighter- bombers.

Have you checked with the IDF Mods guys? Since they already have made the Iron Dome and other Israeli systems, as well as compatible rocket systems.

I haven't heard anything about this being a common issue. I have a subscription with Sync, it's not because they are the fastest provider, but it's the only one I've found that offer unlimited data for downloads at a reasonable price.

I think ED is updating the B-1B. I don't think I will be making a B-2 in the near future.
