Military Assets for DCS by Currenthill

@currenthill have you ever considered improving or supplementing the WW2 assets? I know the Marianas map is due a WW2 makeover soon so i suspect ED will pump some new units out. Still it would be nice to see some of the Allies and Axis units featured in games like Company of Heroes 3.

First of all i am very thankfull for your job! Your assets are amazing quality and i even would buy them as addons assets for DCS.
I want to ask you one thing. As ex Russian navy seaman, i see one think that is wrong. And am talking about flag on your ships.
Russian navy uses st andrew flag, but not a state flag. would you be so kind to replace them on a next update? Thank you!

after installing ( correctly in saved games/mods/tech ) the russian asset pack, DCS crashed at loading

You can do this easily and is even recommended for us all to contribute on CH's Patreon page at least time to time  . So is not that you could, but you can

Also we need to stay realistic that these mods will never become official. ED is planning to move ground units to a next level so I suppose they'll be looking to similar level of accuracy as for planes ... at least I hope that. However I'm pretty sure this being a VERY long term action on ED, then CHs mods are here to stay for the next years.

We wish CH to keep up with his determination and passion to keep up with the DCS updates!

Hello all! I cant tell if im doing anything wrong with the new USA assets. But im running into 2 issues. 

1. The NSM seems very underpowered. Am I doing something wrong or is that just how its balanced?

2. I can't get the SM-6 to fire in surface mode

I was talking to Currenthill in DMs the other day - while there are decent 3D models of the launch truck, there is no 3D model that accurately portrays the command truck or the radar truck. Making these from scratch would be pretty hard.

1. The NSM is rather short/medium range, it's subsonic, but somewhat stealthy. I added the terminal maneuver. If you're talking about its punch, it's a bit lackluster. The warhead is around half of a Harpoon or a quarter of a TLAM. And it's not supersonic. 

2. The SM-6 surface mode has been replaced with the TLAM Va (MST).

Correct. We had discussion about it a couple of pages back. I can only support RWR and HARM IDs at the moment. Haven't found a way to insert custom IDs to the HTS/HAD system. You have to do it manually inside the aircraft.

I need Help all Current updated packs work EXCEPT USA. i have removed all previous versions first and down loaded the most current one as of today, May 5th 2024. When i start DCS it loads then crash to desktop all the time. I even uninstalled DCS and started over new, same thing happens only with the USA pack, Any thoughts or is this a known issue.
