currenthill Posted March 29 Author Share Posted March 29 Haha, it's the mobile anti-ballistic missile system called THAAD (Terminal High Altitude Area Defense). It's made for taking out incoming ballistic missiles. The first vehicle is the launcher and the second one is the AN/TPY-2 radar, with a range of 2500 nautical miles. We watched out for the big stuff going East/West. Motto then was "Guardians of the high frontier". Now been renamed something rubbish by the previous White House occupant.
