Military Assets for DCS by Currenthill

I have all of CH mods working nicely on my DCS, I enable them trough OvGME using its non-compressed way of storing Mods:

 

 

Unfortunately, the non-compressed way has no support for a Mod description or version number.

DCS recognizes them with no problem:

 

 

and they are available on the Mission Editor (with the Historic Filter disabled):

 

 

Thanks a lot @currenthill, these are all very useful Mods and look forward to employing them on my missions

These are the ones still compatible :

I am still testing on the ones that crash, but so far i could add the LPD Foundre.

I think actually it might be the USCG ships ....... but stby...... testing

Hi friends,

Apologies for the flooding.....

I narrowed it down to these two ships:

AD D651_Normandie : crash

AD HSwMS Visby : crash

Removing these two will end the crash...... the rest of the ships are working.

I did not have to remove any of the AC mods, just the ones from CH, which are now inside the new packages and working fine.

Admirals old Visby has been superseded by the Visby inside the Military Asset Pack Sweden.

So true CH,

i didn't even realize that i still had that old version in the tech file untill i went over this research, probably this goes for most who still have this in there. That leaves us just the D651 to fix, and like you said, it might be a weapons configuration that needs a adjustment. This IS still a great ship to have (D651).

@currenthill I removed all the old mods that I could identify.  I am able to install all your assets now except UK or USA.  Either one of those causes the game to shutdown on launch.  Here is my log file and my mods directory.  Can you tell me what the conflict may be?  Thank you sir.

Remove these:

• Type 26 Frigate
• Type 45 Destroyer
• Modernized US Navy Ships

They are included in my asset packs.

i can see you really love your ships

those three type 23, type 26, type 45 frigates, and Destroyer are OLD CH MoD's you have to DEPRECATE them

i don't know what's in that 'main' folder? but you should check it out

also my eyes are not so good so i can't figure what is below the 'IDF Assets Pack'?

any way check all your ships for conflict, see if they are somehow older ver of CH's ships

Sad, because I doubt that @sedenion would try to fix it, as he understandably prefers people to adopt his newer OpenMod Manager. For now, I'm using OvGME but with the files uncompressed.

December 22 2023 Russian asset pack.

Looks like with DCS 2.9 all 3M54T amd 3M55M antiship missiles aim for positions-at-launch of their assigned targets. They can no longer hit anything.

That ALERT is not from CH mods... double check your mission scripts... etc

folks if you are having crashes you need to remove all unofficial mods and run a repair or verify if steam. Lets not derail currenthill's thread.

I saw you having a lot of issues, where you should not. I suggest you the following:

1. Delete everything you have under DCS/Saved Games/mods

2. enable newest CH mods.

I know what causes the crash: It is the content of the mentioned folder. (CH Military Asset Pack USA 1.0.0)
If I remove it, I'm good to go. But I really want to use those assets.

Delete the three folder from your saved games. They are already included in my new asset packs.

No, is not ! .. check my previous answer to you, as well as the one for Timex... do what i was mentioning in there.

I think CH is already super tired answering the same thing to everyone over and over....

Why would I "Delete everything you have under DCS/Saved Games/mods" (As if all other mods make it crash)
I use most of them in my missions. 
Today I copied mentioned folder, and it crashed. I removed it; no crash.
-Do you mean th CH mods? They all reside under "tech"

Because one of the other mods is conflicting with CH ones... you may add one by one the other mods, identify where the conflict is and choose to get rid of either of it... 

Neither CH, nor ED and also no other modder can keep up with this kind of conflicts... you need to assume it and work by yourself to sort out. You have to understand no one knows what's in your computer...

Use multiple mods profiles in OvGME... just don't use them all at once... this is by far the worst scenario ...

Thank you. I tried, and it worked.
Now I just have to move them back one (or five) at the time until I find the conflict.
Sorry, I did not see that solution, because I figured it would be more work than it actually is.
Plus, I will only reconstruct the ones I like and need.
