@currenthillI have a missing texture error with the US Infantry mod. I am using 1.2.0. The M249 gunner has no texture for his gun. See attached. Anyone else have this?

Yep, thanks. It's been reported and I have fixed it. But I wanted to add something more before I released it. Hence the mortar team.

The reason I miss the textures in some releases is because I reuse a lot of the textures between my assets, and I don't notice it missing since it automatically gets loaded from another asset in DCS (in this case it could be the Swedish infantry or the HIMARS etc).

Hi CH, loving your work as always! 🤩

What am I doing wrong here (trying to extract the Grigorovich files)?

Also, if I may make a suggestion, some older SAM systems such as the American Nike Hercules, British Bloodhound / Thunderbird / Tracked Rapier and the Soviet Krug would be really nice to have, especially considering the era of many of the official DCS modules coming out / soon to be released.

Thank-you!

Make sure your extracting the full file not just a a piece of it!

And yeah I fully agree. I love alot of the stuff CH has made so far but I really want some cold war stuff. I'm hoping ED or another dev make a cold war assets pack but this is the best we can get for now..with that being said I'd love to get RWS Tigrs

Seems like the extracted file would exceed the path length limit of windows. you could either extract to a location with a shorter path first and rename the file to a shorter name before moving it back to the intended folder, or enable the windows long path support (if it is not already enabled)

We are so blessed to have you Currenthill, your mods are truly amazing quality, ED hasn't offered you a job yet? 😄
I just tried the American infantry, it works really well!!!

All that's missing is the Russian infantry, and with the American infantry, we will have the 2 main "blue/red" infantry!!
I've been waiting to have versatile infantry with ATGM, AT, sniper, etc for so long... Your work is incredible!

PS Thanks to for Grigorovich class. Such a amazing model!

I make a donation!!

Key Features:

Length: 15.35 m

Wingspan: 9.42 m

Height: 3.89 m

Weight: empty: 7865 kg

Maximum speed at altitude: 2125 km/h

Saab 35 Draken is a Swedish supersonic fighter. Developed by SAAB in the mid-1950s to replace the Saab 29 Tunnan fighter.

The SAAB 35 Draken supersonic fighter was a mid-wing aircraft with a double-swept delta wing. This is a single-seat fighter-interceptor, which, if necessary, was also used to attack ground targets. The aircraft had an all-metal structure that was resistant to overloads. The maximum overload was estimated at 8g, and the destructive structure was 20g. Preparing the fighter for an hour-long flight took 20 man-hours from the maintenance personnel.

A special feature of the Dragon was its variable-sweep delta wing. After the appearance of an engine with a more powerful afterburner on the fighter, the Dragon received a tail landing gear, which also retracted into its own niche. Most SAAB 35 Draken fighters were powered by the Avon 300 series engine, a Swedish licensed copy of the British Rolls-Royce Avon RA.24 engine. At the same time, the turbojet engine received a Swedish-made afterburner.

The fighter's armament consisted of one or two automatic 30-mm aircraft guns. The vehicle also had 9 mounting points for various weapons. Including air-to-air guided missiles, the most common were licensed American missiles Rb.27 - range up to 8-16 km and Rb.28 Sidewinder - launch range up to 18 km.

It can be noted that the service of the SAAB 35 Draken fighters took place without any vivid details. This is a classic hard-working aircraft. The fighter did not take part in combat operations, did not have an increased accident rate and did not kill pilots in plane crashes; pilots did not set world records on the SAAB 35.

This is being made on and off by Heatblur if I remember correctly.

BAAS Dynamics who made the SK-60 is working on a really nice looking Draken.

This is how the smoke from missiles should be when they are launched from ships! But ED is lacking on these details.😌

Thanks! What's on your mind?

👍🏻

Yep, just made it transportable. Did some tests and transported two 120 mm teams in two Blackhawks to their MFP and had them attack targets. 👍🏻

Yeah, it's been on the list for a while. I need to find a way to solve the technical stuff to get it working good enough.

Well, I can certainly put it on the list. The 3d model would need a lot of work to make it lighter, check out those poly numbers. 😅

Ok so, my request is quite special and I don't think I'll get a positive answer. But I'm asking anyway :

So if is it possible, I'd like you to send me the 3D model of the storm shadow (a very good one, by the way) with a few changes to the animations.

My aim is to be able to use your weapons (just the 3D model, I already have the script) on other aircraft such as the Mirage. I like modding weapons on aircraft.

If you're interested, I can explain in detail what I'd like to do and illustrate it for you. (we can go on discord as you want).

Thanks for your reply

Hi @currenthill, Ive been loving all the work you've been putting in, especially with the naval assets. Any chance we'll see some more British assets in the future? It would be really cool to see a modernized Type 23 Frigate (in service with the RN until 2035) to compliment your existing British naval assets and allow us to create a modern UKCSG.

The Stormer HMV would also be incredible to see, giving the UK (and Ukraine) a unique mobile SHORAD system which the UK is lacking. I can't wait to see what else you've got in the pipeline.

Hello! I am still having the same exact issue! I am unable to actually install this via OVGME, it does not see the ZIP file when I follow what it said in teh FAQ, if I unzip it doesn't see the zip files of the vehicles so it doesn't access the mod folders inside. I am using winrar, so that could be an issue if your foldering method relies on some other zip manager. please help

I am always keeping mods unzipped in the ovgme. Makes it easier and faster to enable them in gaming, even it "costs" me some more disk space.
