That's reasonable of course. But it goes both ways.

 

The devs should be happy they have a job, a warm office to work in, a loyal customer base with enough cash to buy their products, and a life...

Strike Eagle coming, some people already pre-ordered, some people will buy, others will not. 

There are fans of HB, RB, ED. 

End of a day, nobody really cares, about what others do or don't do. 

For example nobody cares I buy modules form ED store just as much as nobody cares that I don't buy 3rd party aircraft as no third party proved me wrong yet. 

RB has got a chance now, but we will see. 

It matters nothing to anybody but ME.

well put @Gierasimov i too do not really care what others think. i pre-purchased the module. i realize it is not going to be perfect; especially with some people on the forums. i would also remind everyone that perfection is impossible. to get all worked up about silliness spewing from people's anonymous mouths is really not close to being worth it. my grandfather used to say "it's a miracle that it works at all." 

keep up the good work developers. keep your chins up. most of us love you all.

I'm genuinely amazed, that such a newsletter which have very minimal new information was able to generate more than 150 comments so far.

Furthermore all the information included in it was already known, even the starting date of the pre-order period was quasy "known". Not the EA depoyment date, but "only" the pre-order which means several months will pass till the EA launch.

So basically people are arguing and flaming about something which is several months away... And not even about any technical details related to the module, but some pricing policy. Unbelievable.

But OK, this newsletter was purely dedicated to the F-15, I understand. Now we have 2 days to get the next one, which will hopefully contain ANY information about the core development. You know, 1st March is around the corner...

No mate. They are arguing about current affairs which is "steam users treated as second grade customers" by Razbam not providing pre-sales in Steam and not communicating it before the thing started. 

Several months later both, the ED shop and Steam will offer early access at reduced price which is understood to be equal but time will show what it is in the end.

Thanks Luke, "the several months later", not to forget, is also a topic of contention when there is a pre-order in-place without the commitment and respect for the community of announcing a release date.

Except that one, crucial fact that everyone is talking about. In fact, those who kept on top of RAZBAM Discord thought they know something completely opposite. This thread is basically people who were affected or otherwise didn't like that little tidbit making their displeasure known, and a handful of clueless people who were not affected telling them to suck it up and be glad for something they didn't get.

I kept on top od Discord and Twitter which seems to attract RAZBAM folks more. 

I am not affected. 

I said suck it up. 

So I guess I fit into the thread by your standard then. 

Anyways, we will find out eventually when is the early access and a day before it happens, some of us will pre-order to save $$ only to find out the following day that the EA date was pushed due to 'unforseen circumstances beyond anyone's control'. 

We will argue then again.

Once it hits EA eventually, we will argue again about: 

its 'game breaking bugs' 

'immersion breaking lack of AI backseater' 

'lack of ED miles' 

'quality of flight model' 

'lack of content' 

'mp gameplay' ...

We ALWAYS argue. Mostly about the same things no matter the module or it's createor... 

Two more days.

Yes, except you deceptively edited out the answer below, and the one saying that the comment had been edited. Until the very day of the preorder, it used to say "yes, it will". Steam users got hyped for nothing. And don't start about it being "subject to change", either. Of course they can change that, doesn't mean they should have, or that they shouldn't have done this at an earlier date.

Well as @Gierasimov said pretty much each to their own. I for one have found the Razbam experience of the past not to be to my liking. The breaking point for me was my purchase of the AV-8b Harrier in early access which was released into EA all the way back at the end of November 2017. At this time, it still does not have a user manual. And because of that I decided I will not buy a single further Razbam product until they provide a manual for the AV-8b Harrier and if that happens then I will purchase Razbam products only when they come out of early access. However with some other devs I have more faith to purchase early access. 

On a side note the last official Razbam comment I ever saw regarding a Razbam manual for the Harrier was this comment from Nov 2022 below after explaining that the Mudhen would be the focus for a full manual first before the Harrier.

With the Mudhen we know that BalticDragon is working on a manual and training mission, so I am sure RAZBAM took the issue that you mentioned seriously @Konovalov. But yeah, unbelievable for the Harrier.
