Topper81 Posted March 20, 2023 Posted March 20, 2023 Hello, more a question, maybe a bug, but at 1:10 there is a tone and later, it's explained that this tone appears when firering an AMRAM. Why we don't have this tone in our DCS Viper (And maybe other modules)? I guess it could be a usefull feature because sometimes I don't really know if the fox is on the hunt till I see the smoke after a few seconds... 1
Furiz Posted March 20, 2023 Posted March 20, 2023 One more with the tone but I'm not sure what year is this etc... our F-16 is cca 2007.
VarZat Posted March 20, 2023 Posted March 20, 2023 Been wondering this aswell. Of course this is from 1992 but did they take it out? Another thing to note is when the contact passes through the range ring or what its called on the FCR page it blanks it out in that spot, which i dont think the f-16 in DCS does

Most likely an older tape, we would need specific evidence for our viper. Forum rules - DCS Crashing?
