No throttle

No matter what a/c I am using or what joystick I get no throttle response. In controls it seems to be working but not in the sim. Is there a special way to tune the throttle? Not a computer guru, please help.

Make sure you assigned the correct throttle axis to the correct controls under thr correct category of the desired aircraft. 

Also make sure the throttle is still working.

More importantly, make sure there isn’t a duplicate throttle assignment lurking somewhere. DCS has a bad habit of making automatic nonsensical assignments like views to rudder pedals, etc. So check around carefully.

Are you on STABLE version?  If so check that you are assigning bindings (and playing) in SIM mode (or assigning and playing in GAME mode).  If it's working in the training missions but not in other missions, then this is likely the culprit.

If you're on OPEN BETA ignore this suggestion as the options have been removed so there isn't the opportunity to have this problem.

Also, if the aircraft has it, make sure the throttle is in the idle position and not off.

Thanks a lot guys. The throttle never moves the only  time I see movement is in controls and you  see the little lines showing that it was assigned.

There is no movement with any joystick or with the keyboard commands either. Don't know if it is in idle or off because the commands end or home don't move it either. I don't know what Stable is or Open Beta. Sorry I am not a computer expert.

Which airplane, exactly? Some of them (eg. Fw-190, F-86, L-39, MiG-21) have locked engine-off position of the throttle lever (or "idle detent" if you will) that has to be deactivated with a separate key/button.

In that case you're likely on stable.  Check in your settings and see if GAME FLIGHT MODE (or something similar) is checked.  If it is, uncheck it and see if throttle works.  The other way to check is see if it works in the training missions.  If it does, then you likely have GAME mode selected but you're binding under SIM mode.

Check any free flight instant action mission - does it work there? You can't move the throttle when engines are off in most modules.

My Warthog HOTAS throttles are unresponsive. The other buttons/switches work, just not the left or right throttle. I am running windows 11. I only have used this on the Warthog A10C. This game is rumning on SSD. Am at a loss of what to try to solve this problem.

Check the axis category in A-10C adjust controls menu. Are there any red marks - conflicts? Can you send a screeshot?

We figure out a solution to this? I'm having the same problem with the MiG-19 Throttles. No conflict. Axis works in the settings (white bars moving) all other hotas throttle buttons etc work but the throttles won't move in game.

Check free flight with Rctrl+Enter. Upload your axis controls screenshot.
