fixed DCS 2.9 Supercarrier Night Ops Deck Crew has no light wands

Since my update to DCS 2.9.0.46801 the Supercarrier deck crew has no light wands during night operations anymore! See attached screen shot. The light "shadow" ie. green and red or yellow light sheen on the deck crew body is visible, but the actual light wand is missing. This makes it extremely difficult to see the deck crew hand signals at night. Any ideas??

Hi Flappie,

checked my mods, I have no mods installed other than TacView and DCS-SRS Radio. Before the update to 2.9 the Supercarrier deck crew worked flawlessly.
Attached my track from taxi to the catapult to cat-shot....

Any help is appreciated, Thank you!!

Just checked your track and can see the wands. Are you using any unusual graphics tweaks or edits? Please attach your dcs log

Hi, no I am not using any unusual graphic tweaks or edits. Log is attached. Just FYI I am using the Steam Version! When I start DCS it gives me the options:

1. Play DCS Steam Edition

2. Launch SteamVR in Steam VR mode

3. Launch OculusVR in Oculus VR mode

4. Play MT Preview

I have always used option 1 as I don't have VR. Just for trouble shooting I have tried option 4. Play MT Preview. When I use this option I can see the wands and everything looks normal, but the game sometimes crashes. When I use option 1 as I always have in the past, the game runs without problems but I can't see the wands!? The attached log file is from option 1 "Play DCS Steam Edition"

I have the same happening. The glow of the wands are there (against clothing etc) but there are no physical wands in the crew's hands. Running on 2D 1089P, Track IR 5, latest OB single thread, only the A-4E and HMAS Melbourne mods.

I have exactly the same issue.

Using no mods

Tried running without track IR and / or Vaicom pro same result

System:Core i9 9900, 32GB RAM, graphics RTX 3080 Seahawk, Windows 10

please use MT version as a work around. 

I will mention to the team about the ST issue, but hopefully soon we will no longer have ST version.

Since ST is going to be gone in the fairly near future (no specified date, but every indication that it's months not years), chances are the fix for this is likely going to be the end of ST.  Not going to be worth spending dev time fixing things in ST.

Going MT does not solve the issue for me in VR.

Light sticks still not visible on any deck crew, while light emission is.

Can you please share a DCS track of this issue showing in MT?

Add your dcs.log as well.

Here You go,
While i have your attention, there is difference in cursor (crosshair) color when using mouse in VR, it is now black in MT which makes it almost impossible to see at night.

Your log says you're running ST:
