reported Unknown module NORMANDY_terrain_new

I've had Normandy since it was released, but for some reason DCS World (2.9.2.49940 Open Beta MT) is today notifying me that Normandy 2 is available to install. When I click okay and it proceeds with the usual exit and install, it results in an "Unknown module NORMANDY_terrain_new" error. Tested it by flying through Paris at 100 feet, and it's definitely Normandy 2, so not sure what is going on.

I recently bought ww2 assets and normandy 2.0 map together. asset pack showed up on module manager and installed it. but there is no sign about normandy? on dcs account licence section, it says i have the map.

Did you have Normandy 1944 before already? Because in that case, you already had Normandy 2, it's just that the map was limited to the low resolution textures. By buying the upgrade, DCS simply unlocks the high resolution textures, there is nothing to download.

You can easily check if you have the Normandy 2 paid upgrade if you go to Paris or London for example and check if everything looks alright.

No i didn't buy normandy 1944 before. My order is paid. I bought it with asset pack and i was able to install asset pack.

If you navigate to the module manager, ignore the tickbox pop up menu, click on terrains and find Normandy 2.0 does it offer the Install option? Sometimes the tick box section doesn't seem to update for a little bit.  Also DCS had a patch today, have you upgraded the base install yet?

it offers "buy" unfortunately. my dcs is up to date. 2.9.3.51704 version number.

yeah i can fly on it now. its still suggesting "buy" in module manager though. on e shop, it is "bought". but i guess it doesn't matter because didn't give any authorization warning.

Hi Guys,

So i just bought the normandy 2.0 map as a fresh buy (never had the 1.0 version).

So after i opened up the module manager it still is not available to download.

I ran stable 2.9.3 before. even after updating to open beta it still is not there. I'm really confused.

 

Any Ideas?

I've just done a DCS re install on a new computer last night and my Normandy map is missing from my module manger so I can't install it at the moment.

download this put it in to your dcs install file, start it. it will download and install the map.

Same here. No idea what's going on. I had a licence for 1.0, but didn't have it installed atm.

I uninstalled Normandy2 to make room on my hard drive for the update.  Now that I'm updated to the latest version, I'm trying to reinstall Normandy2 and it's just gone.  I no longer have the option to reinstall it from the module manage.  It's not in the "install modules" pop-up menu with the other modules.  Everything else i could install is there, but not Normandy for some reason.   It's definitely not installed either, because I can't load missions for it from the main menu.
