There needs to be a free low detail version for everyone and I say this as someone who always buys terrains and modules. Look at player counts on the free terrain servers and the ones that are paid. I want to fly with a lot of people in a map as big as Afghanistan. That’s what makes the game fun and if hardly anyone is going to fly on a server what’s the point?

Based on player count most servers are running:

1. Caucasus

2. Syria

3. Persian Gulf

Free or not, it also depends on map popularity and good missions.

Not really seen much info on factions to be added? I take it that Afghanistan, Taliban and Mujahideen will be added as factions? Would be a shame and wrong to just use "Insurgent" for them, especially as they are on opposing sides.

News have been out 6 hours ago, no Chinook tomorrow but other than that, things on schedule

yes for sure, pinning a date down is one of the reasons, but steam also have other requirements
