Do you know where i can find information about japanese paint used? I started working off the great pictures some of you posted here (THANK YOU !!! :) ) but I wish to make something correct and picture are only helpful for marking/paint position since in photography color are usually biaised by light/exposure. Darkwolf Posted January 25, 2014 Share Posted January 25, 2014 Yes, the hello kitty is just a fun moment to test marking and i don't plan it for release. :) I still have a few things to do on it so it'll surely take me a week to go thru all the details and marking. For now my main issue is finding a decent picture where the Kanjis can be read. For the side door it's easy, for all the little marking all around the aircraft, that's something else. I based the skin on the UH1-J. Except a little adaptation under the fuselage at the front cabin level due to different size, most of the pattern is respected - I still have the tail to do - current is placeholder I'm learning japanese and have some nice software that help find kanjis by radicals (sign construction). again, thank you, you saved my life [sIGPIC][/sIGPIC] PC simulator news site. Nealius Posted January 26, 2014 Share Posted January 26, 2014 (edited) I have about 6 years of Japanese study under my belt, so if you need any kanji help just ask ;) There's one yellow notice towards the rear on the pliot's side...I couldn't read all of it because the doors were open and blocking it, but it looks like that particular warning only exists on the UH-1J. So started googling and ended up in this thread and picked a nice skin: Most of the work has been done and know I want to finish it with the decals My question can someone send me High resolution pictures of this aircraft off all sides, close ups or other materials so I can reproduce the decals?
