I would actually really like the fact of Razbam introducing problems like this in a code, because the RADAR was a present feature when I bought F15E, and now since it would be sabotaged by the developer it could be used against STEAM, as an implemented already feature that was taken away, we did pay for a module "in current state" - early access that has now less features than we paid for.

And since the module would be unplayable in all versions of dcs no reverse compatibility would apply.

I should probably get my dogs in on this thread then, you know just put the keyboard on the ground with a few treats in between the keys...fairly certain it wouldnt be repetative AND going nowhere. If anything they'll just blame me.

Reading some of these posts, I think this idea has already been used !

Now the radar is borked without a non DCS workaround which means it's broke. Period. If stuff like this starts happening, and more and more it will, then it is incumbent on ED to stop the sales. Period.

I highly doubt that. Something just broke. However if they did, bravo. You only do things like that to protect yourself for some reason.

Wonder if the other Razbam modules I paid for have similar features?

As I said I doubt it's that, I truly do. ED updates something even when the devs are ready for it and something breaks. Seems much better than it used to be, but still. So when you haven't had an update in 3 months and counting..the gremlins are going to start showing up and showing up in force.

No.  You do these kind of things when you're acting in bad faith. Though I admit it'd be a new low even for them.

Razbam have more to lose than anyone from advertising that there's a reason to expect their products to break. They are better off with as few of their customers as possible knowing about the suspension of support, and this is the equivalent of a big neon sign.

I definitely get being cynical about Razbam right now, I'm extremely cynical about them myself, but doing this deliberately just doesn't make sense. That said, it would certainly be a nice show of good faith (towards the customers) if Razbam were to patch this one issue. They could spin it as something they overlooked that was meant to be done in the final patch before suspending support, and therefore consistent with the intent of their suspension (maybe a reach), but I think the dispute is probably past the point where that would happen now. Who knows if the appropriate staff are even still employed by Razbam.

Not everyone knows what's good for them. There's a word to describe those kind of people, but saying it could earn me a warning.

Yeah, I think I know that word, in fact I deleted it from my first draft for that reason and couldn't find a way to say it without it amounting to the same thing.

Part of me hopes this is an easy fix. But it won't solve the bigger issues of whether to keep flying a mod that has no future. I fly aircraft that I want to get better at in hope that I can fly online with others. What's the point of learning an aircraft that will eventually be dropped from multiplayer if it has not future support.

Well gentelmen today's mission involves a strategic strike on the law office of Dewwy, Cheatem & Howe and Low, Ball, & Lynch. Today assets will be 2 F-15E Mudhen. Never mind the mission is cancelled the radar does not work.  🤣

Look on the bright side: If you want a distraction from the Razbam drama you can always focus on the election 😋

We have stated a few times now that what is happening now is with legal guidance. We have to follow these directions. This can include selling of the product. We need to wait until this is settled one way or another.

You will write this exact message 50 more times... 😄
