Can I ask how G-force is felt?  With SSA I have set it to start vibrating at 4G and increases with intensity as it builds, which I find really useful for BFM.  I don't find it necessary (and quite annoying!) to feel G below that threshold.   This was set in G-Feeling Threshold Deadzone in SSA special options.

In SimHaptic you can control at what G the shaking will start as well as at what G it will maxed out. As for negative G, currently it won't be felt as strong as positive G. We plan on adding dedicated settings for negative G as well. You are more than welcomed to try SimHaptic for 7 days free and check if firsthand.

That sounds perfect, thanks!

Regarding the trial, I’m really interested but before taking the plunge there’s a couple of things I need to iron out.  For example, I’ve got a Moza FFB base arriving later this month and I understand it currently stops SSA from working.   I’m hoping the Moza devs will sort that soon.  If it does then I may as well give the trial a go then.  I’ve also got a Simxperience Gseat (running Simcommander) and NLR Motion system, all which currently work together, so slightly nervous to break something unintentionally.

Does anyone know if I keep a backup of my export file, can I just replace it if things go bad?

Just installed it tonight and can't get it to connect to DCS. It tests okay on the Settings tab, but just says "Waiting" on the Main tab with DCS selected.

Anyone else have this problem?

I think it's "waiting" for you to fire up the game.

The game is on but according to a reply I received on the Discord, I have to select an aircraft, too.

I haven’t had an opportunity to try that yet.

Gave it a try this morning sitting in a Hornet with no success.

Update: worked it out with tech support. There was a Buttkicker line in the export .lua that had to be deleted.

Stall sound mute engine (tested in F18)... It is done this way intentionally? If so, shouldn't the engine vibrations still be felt even though we have entered a stall?

Hey, this is by design, since having the bass shaker shake at the same time both of the effects will cause a very strange and strong shaking. Yet, we are going to add a new slider setting per effect, which will allow you to control how the effect "will override" other effects. It will be up to you.

Not planned for now, we also tried to contact HF8 company to work together but we never got any reply.

Perfect, the stall vibration is very important but seems like engine cut off suddenly.

Something I noticed a while back (haven't played DCS for a few weeks), with guns in the Migs (15 and 21) the vibration activates when I pull the trigger but the guns aren't turned on (no tracers/rounds are seen/fired).

Some older aircraft have a real long idle time after pulling the trigger before the first round actually goes off. Maybe the telemetry sent doesn’t take that into account?

Regarding forum registration, with gmail I never got the confirmation but with protonmail I got it within seconds. I think ED don't like gmail accounts for some reason.

What do you mean by that? ED doesn't send confirmation emails to Google accounts? Improbable. What's probable, and I've read this in another thread, is that ED has not configured their DNS domain settings and email servers correctly. So, Google might block them. Anti-spam you know. Finally it's overall getting stricter and stricter, while less tech savvy admin are lagging and legit emails might not reach its destination. But that's life.

Cheers!

I've held the trigger for ten seconds, just to confirm the guns weren't turned on. Guns on or off, the gun vibration effect was there. Not a biggie of course.

Gmail didn't work for me and it didn't work for RKApps either. Whatever the reason. Protonmail did/does though. I do have a very vague (VERY vague) memory that it happened to me some years ago too and when I asked why it was because a lot of banned people were using gmail to setup alt accounts, so ED banned them. Or it was because of gmail spam-bots...

Probably a fluke in the telemetry sent by DCS. Maybe worth a bug report.

@BIGNEWY @NineLine
Can you confirm that Gmail accounts are banned?
Cheers!

Hey, the coming update 2.1.0 will include a potential fix for this issue.
