my very first impressions were slightly underwhelmed but I’ve turned around on that quite a bit after mucking with settings. 
 

The first thing I noticed was that the presets it comes with aren’t very good, at least for the P-51 and the F-18. They both seemed weak and underwhelming. Flying the OH58 was also a bit of a letdown as a strong centering force made it hard to be precise and made force trim jerky. 
 

however, tonight I messed with the slider a bit more and found really good settings for those three. Turning the spring force all the way down and everything else up made the OH58 amazing to fly. There’s still some centering force but it’s very light and the extremely precise and light stick movement instantly made me a 10x better helicopter pilot. I went from having a shaky and imprecise hover to a rock solid, extremely controlled precision hover. It’s a game changer. 
 

turning spring and just about everything up to 50% the P-51 with the force settings at 100% made for a very realistic feeling experience. After some instant action dogfights lasting maybe 10 min total, the base was still apparently cool and I never had any problems with the force feedback being throttled. 

overall I’m getting more and more excited about this the more I mess with it. I haven’t gotten the telemetry modes to work yet, so there’s a whole lot more to mess with there I think. If anyone knows how to get that working with DCS let me know.

With your grip attached directly to the base, can it be twisted at all?  From memory, for my Virpil base, I had to loosen a couple of screws to do so.

Exactly.

My personal experience and taste would say yes. No problem. But there are people that disregard anything below 20 lbs pull force as insufficient and unrealistic (those are in favor of the FFBeast which is currently the only FFB-Stick (that I know of) which can deliver such forces).

Yes Sir Sturdy and very heavy just right to handle that Beast off a FFB.

I just sent them an email as my friend emailed them today and they have now sent his out. I truly believe that they have forgotten about us.

I was trying not to chase them.

Will keep you all updated.

Perhaps they kick you to the head of the queue if you complain.

Yeah, I don't know what the power was of the motors on my G940, but 1 hour flying a spitfire without a decent break, my arm would be starting to complain, 2 hours were a definite "Nope"

I was hoping they would just honour the agreement and send it out  any way email sent requesting an update.

Checked my account and still says "Processing."....oh well at least the Desk Stand looks like a work of art.

Got a text message from DHL saying I have a parcel inbound. But when I check my order on my Moza account it is still marked as Processing. I did think the DHL message was just SPAM but it turns out I do have a package inbound and I am not expecting anything else. Looks like the MOZA website isn't updating the shipping status. Also the shipping company was in Honk Kong and is called JACKMAX Co. Limited.

Expecting delivery on Friday the 13th? Fingers crossed!!!

Any of you have an AB9 with a Virpil grip and can comment on compatibility?

I know that it's meant to be fully compatible, I'm just hoping for some more confirmation from someone on this forum.

The latest I've heard is that there is partial compatibility, with grip axes being treated as buttons.

The Rhino had the same issue until they worked with Virpil to support the features that Virpil added beyond the Trustmaster stuff. I've not seen any info about Moza working on this.
