My voting count as a "yes it do", but i thing it's up to the Sapphire HD 3850 (AGP) The GPU use 512 MB DDR 3 RAM. The Game run in Single- or Multiplayer with normale details, but maybe that happens to the AMD 462 based (Socket A) Athlon XP 2600 Processor.

I got 1536 MB RAM (DDR1) in the machine.

The Game itself runs, with 4 to 11 FPS.

Better to have a newer computer to play the Game without problems.

I use Windows XP Prof. as OS.

To the original poster, and I apologise if this has already been suggested - I haven't read the whole thread.

I have an ATI 4850, and with it I have no real issues with BS - But, when I play Crysis it seems to cook my graphics card if i don't increase the fan speed to 95% from the 60% default which is sufficent for every other game. This results in my computer locking up... Now it is a different graphics card, and a different game, but it might be worth looking into.

No problems on mine.

I just updated to 8gb ram and it makes a huge difference. It loads in a flash now, this game loves ram it seems. The more the better.

Your problem is your high-end vid card. The only solution is we swap ours. :D

Joke aside, I've had no problem what-so-ever running BS with my rig.

ED have been taking my money since 1995. :P

No issues. Had no single freeze, although I thought it could due to SLI activated by default in my system. I'm having some trouble in general with my OS and will reinstall it soon, but no single crash/freeze while playing BS. I have to mention that I have'nt played online yet, so I can only share my experience in single-player mode.

I used to love her, but I had to kill her

I had to put her, six feet under

And I can still hear her complain

AFAIK, DCS doesn't take advantage of SLI.

Pirate and the original poster - which brand graphics cards do you use? I have 2x Asus 4850s and have had overheating problems with the older one - BIOS flash solved the issue.

Runs much smoother when no overclock on cpu? Otherwise purrs like a kitten. FPS 23 to 55, its all over the place, it seems impossible to get fps stable.

Well, I've had all kinds of issues. I'm getting all kinds of flight time, but as soon as I hit the target area ingress point, things usually get whacky. Sometimes it's my TrackIr 5, which will bug out and cause my view to spin freakishly around the cockpit. Other times, the game will just stop and hang, causing me to Alt-Tab out and kill it.

I'm still struggling to get through the Deployment campaign, which includes a few missions with travel to target times that are no less than 30 minutes.

The problems always occurr when I hit a mission trigger which includes voice instructions from the command unit.

If I didn't dread having to fly the first half of a particular mission for the 4th time, then I'd probably spend a lot more time with this sim.
