I've seen it mostly on 4YA (where I fly mostly), it seems to happen at airfields once you start destroying targets, not sure which one triggers it. Sometimes it'll stop or reduce in it's effect once the airfield has been taken over

I was in a strike eagle yesterday on 4YA Syria, I had dropped a GBU 54 on a leopard and that's when I noticed the lines appeared.  However in all fairness, I did miss with one GBU38 and had it impact the ground.  Could it be the leopard?  Or hitting the ground itself?  I'll try again later tonight.

How about they'll fix it when they get to the bottom of what's causing it?

It seems to be an issue on specific servers and isn't widespread beyond that which likely isn't helping them find the cause.

i have the exact same issue . On syrya map as well. my track file of yesterday is too big  i played 1 hour but ill check later if i can upload it . i was in gunner seat attacking Hatay and then suddenly in my tads and outside i saw those big stripes ( i also call them Saturn rings)

Interesting...

I can not replicate it anymore. Part of the problem is that I switched to Windows 11 and got everything reinstalled.

Still have an old NVME with Win10, so I might boot it and check that as well.

@BIGNEWY do you realy need a trackfile? my file is too big 79MB is there anyother place i can upload to your company? well you have already screenshots from other gamers so making a video for youtube wont help much

Will try. I am mostly on contention and a day or two ago, one person complained in the chat on Syria map.

Devs added more logs and tried to locate the source of the issue, without success so far. 🫤 It seems to be server-side.

yes sorry forgot to mention if i play dcs then i always connecto to hte 4ya servers most i connect on syrya map were the issue is constantly, i can tell you already i connected to the Iraq map  (2 hours ) i did not receive the issue ( did not expected that) . the issue does not come always, but lately i cant get too the syya map without having that issue pops up

ill test on syrya map and as i said willnote date time and coordinate ( i mean in game coordinates on that map)

Don't bother, the beta test team now manage to reproduce the bug on purpose after a few minutes. Still, devs have a hard time tackling the issue.

I'm still seeing buggy textures. In my experience, they appear when a certain ground vehicle is destroyed. When I'm far enough away from the destroyed target, the texture glitch disappears. They also disappear when I'm not directly looking at the target. A faulty destroyed-target texture issue I think.

DCS gfx engine probably works correctly by drawing a texture at a given coordinates. Find where in the code the coordinates sent are wrong. Implement values sanity checks, check for negative or extreme values, ex. hit hole in the ground can't be bigger than x, coordinates of a hole can't be too far away from the hit point... This all seem obvious but sometimes it can put someone on a good track. Only devs can fix that.

Have they came out with a fix yet or any further information? It's so frustrating I don't play anymore. I'm an AG guy. Can't see to attack or avoid ir missiles bc of this trash.

review the 8 pages of this post. they are working on it. seems to me that avoiding the servers (if it is possible) that exhibit the error is the best bet at the moment.
